My internet speed has been upgraded but I can't download any faster?

I'm on a Lenovo Z580 laptop, and my internet was previously 60mbps but has been upgraded to 152mbps. According to the internet my laptop should be able to reach 100mbps but my speed is no different to before, speedtest generates the same results and download speeds are exactly the same.

How can I resolve this?

Maybe your downloads are set to be limited on the amount of bandwidth they use

The reasons for not able to the max speeds:
1) 152mbps is local speed, not international speed.
2) Hardware restrictions like router, laptop etc
3) Weak Wi-Fi signal or low tier like Category 5 lan cable.
4) Your internet is shared with other PC.
5) ISP side.

Anyway, the most simple way is call your ISP and they will troubleshoot for you.
