Upgraded to Windows 10 and now I don't have wireless internet?

I recently "upgraded" to Windows 10 as per advisement because I was unable to download two different documents that I needed for an online class. Now that I have it, I'm unable to even pick up a wireless internet connection and don't even have the option to. Mind you that I had internet before I switched to Windows 10. So how do I fix this? I have a lenovo thinkpad, fairly older laptop, could this be a problem?

So before installing W10 you were stealing Wi-Fi from someone else who pays/paid for theirs? Maybe you have learned a lesson and now must get your own router

It should be easy. Create a new wireless connection. When you finish, it will be in your list of available connmections. Click on it and then make sure you click the connect box. I assume you have looked at your installed devices to make sure the wireless adapter installed correctly.

Maybe a driver issue? Check Device Manager to see if there are any devices that have! Points on them. Visit the PC manufacturer's website and download the Windows 10 or the latest driver for your wireless adapter.
