Last night, I was just scrolling down through my news feed. Then the screen turned to violet then shut down. And now, i can't still open it. I tried to remove the battery. Still, It won't open

So I got this lenovo G510 not two weeks ago, and everything was going great until yesterday when my laptop started running slow. Games are slow and not smooth and sometimes apps don't respond and touchpad freezes for a while. I checked task manager and the disk appears to be full (100%) even though I'm not running a lot of applications. Under processes, it shows one app that is using a lot of disk, for example 67% and the others are normal. When I close it another app uses that amount and disk is still 100%. I ran anti-malware scan using the latest windows defender and also the latest malwarebytes, and no threats were detected ( no viruses as well ), so I went online and tried several solutions but it still doesn't work. Note that it doesn't happen all the time.
oh, and here are my specifications:
- Core i7-4700MQ.
- 8GB Ram.
- 1TB HDD.
- Windows 8.1 x64.
*Windows 7 64, 320GB drive space, 1.65 Ghz Daul-AMD-processor. Lenovo Laptop*
Given those specs of my Laptop, what would be a good video making and editing software. My goal is to take a bunch of clips from youtube and make a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' parody, but with a different person(and have them be a slayer). I want to remake the Buffy intro, using the theme song and make someone look like they were on the show.
What software would be best for doing that?

I Recently upgraded my Lenovo ThinkPad T520 (4243) to windows 8,1 from windows 7. In windows 7 I had this little power management I used instead of the standard windows one. It's better because it has an option to make my PC cool down faster because of their Fan Turbo Boost.
I searched Lenovos site for the driver for Lenovo power management and found the one for windows 8.1 64 bit. (Which fits my laptop) I even looked down and saw it was compatible with my Model (t520)
But it's simply not there? I've googled abit and searched lenovos site. And there's no other problems for it than me.
heres what I do. (basically followed their readme)
Install the driver from the site
downloading the driver
When the driver is finished It closes down and opens up the setup wizard for The Lenovo Power Management… (all which is pretty self explanitory)
still no Lenovo Power management!
I usually play
1.Call of duty
2.Counter strike go
3.Battlefield
And loads of other great games
So my question is should I get the lenovo z850 for gaming?
Does it lag?
The only thing i want is for it to run smoothly and not lag…
So it worth getting it?
I usually play online so…
