So i was uninstalling different things on my Pc and i accidentally uninstalled something called intel graphics. Now my screen is massive, everything seems like 3 times the size that it was. I was just wondering how i either get it to a normal size or how i re install this intel thing to get it back to normal size. I have a lenovo laptop.
I need a new laptop for college. I've been looking at windows ones, I just don't really like macs and I use them before and I just don't like them. I have an 11in netbook now and I think that I would want a bigger screen for college, and after looking at screens, I think that 14in is the largest i'd go, and a 13in screen would be ideal. I do want one with a touch screen because I heard that Windows 8 is a much better experience with a touchscreen. With a coupon I was able to get that laptop for around $700, though i'm wondering if i need one like that, with all the different modes and if i'm actually going to be using it. Any other suggestions?

I Have been researching and on most sites it tells me that i need to get a new pc because I shouldn't mess with the motherboard with integrated graphics. But, I heard that you can put A new Graphics card in a slot or something that isn't connected to the mother board, and you can tell your laptop to use that one?

Basic difference between the two seems to be i5 vs i7 and GT750M vs GT740M along with 1080p display of y510p with it's heavy weight.
I'm buying this laptop as a first year BTech(probably CSE) student. I have a Nexus 7 2013 for casual browsing needs. My doubts:
1.I'm confused between better GPU and better CPU. What's preferable for a future proof machine that can support all latest software (including games)?
2. Does i7 really suck on battery life vs an i5? I mean can't Z510 go 4-5 hours on normal use.
3. I find 1080p screen on my phone and tablet to be gorgeous and easier on eyes vs my dad's 720p laptop. Will it be true in case of two laptops too? Don't the icons go too small on 1080p?
4. Anything else that you think worth mentioning in comparison?
PS: Is Lenovo as good and trusty in India as it's abroad… Vs Dell or HP?
My Lenovo Easy Camera just stopped working after I installed a facial recognition program called KeyLemon on Windows 8.1. I have reset my computer entirely twice and have installed the latest drivers exactly for my brand of laptop. The camera worked for a brief time after the first reset and I tried the software again but it did the same thing. I have tried everything but i don't think its a coincidence that right after I installed the software my camera stopped working but i'm ready to chalk it up to a hardware problem and be done with it, but if anyone could give me some advice i would be grateful.
I have a Lenovo laptop with Windows 7 and I downloaded ark file archiver. I didn't like it so I found a way to delete it. Now my computer can't open zip files. Before I downloaded ark the files said compressed zip folder. Now they say zip archive and when I try to open it it says application not found. How do I get it back to normal where it says compressed zip folder?
So I just ordered my Lenovo y510p on 6/27/14 (Friday) and got the standard shipping with no customization and I wanted to know if anyone has ordered from their site and experienced the shipping? Was there any delays? Did you get your shipment early?
