Laptop advice: Lenovo Flex 2 vs Inspiron 15R with touch vs Others?

Here are the two laptops which I have shortlisted after detailed research
1. Lenovo Flex 2

Please help me finalize which of these to choose. I will up the RAM to 8gb of whichever system I choose. My requirements are viewing PDFs, Slideshows, web browsing, gaming and everything else an engineering student will do with his laptop.
Also you may give me some other suggestions in similar price range.

GPU switching? Lenovo Z510?

I have bought the Lenovo Z510 59-405838 and was trying to play GTA4. But whenever I start the game it never comes on as full screen. And in the settings of the game it shows that my resource is only 27mb. So I think it is using the intel hd graphics instead of Nvidia. The laptop is on high performance profile and I even tried running the app with high performance graphics by right clicking. But no luck.

Lenovo replace a unwarranted laptop?

Had the laptop for a few years now, but has hardware issues. It randomly give me a blue screen then shut down and won't let me started it back up. Something I can but it will just go out again.

So Will they replace it? If I have to pay, how much is a replacement model?

Suggestions for good computers?

I want a good graphics card computer
Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI is good or something better
It needs to be around 900 dollars.
Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p 15.6-Inch Laptop (59406636) Dusk Black is one suggestions.
What it needs
-Easy usage in daily life
- Higher than hd 5000
- good for all gaming for about another 3 years or so

I can't open my laptop. I don't know what happened

So, I was using my lenovo laptop for a school project. In the middle of typing, it just died. The screen turned black. Power out. I was charging it when it turned off so there's no way it just ran out of battery charge. Anyway, the charger seems to work fine. It still lights up while the small lights (I don't know what they're called) of my laptop which indicates whether it's charging/on doesn't seem to light up when charged/plugged. I tried removing the battery and plugging the charger again but it didn't work. Could over-heat be the cause of the problem? I smelled the vents of my laptop after it died and it smelled kinda bad, like something burned. What can I do to make it work again without spending too much money on repair?

How to make my laptop faster?

I own a lenovo laptop and it's been acting strange lately. Whenever I try to watch a youtube video it'll lag really bad. If I try to enter full screen it'll freeze the computer. And the loading time is way to long. It'll freeze randomly for a few seconds then unfreeze. It has dual AMD C-50 Processors. And yes I've done a factory restore on it already but it still freezes. How do I fix this?
