What computer should I buy or should I wait?

I have been looking at iMacs and the new Mac Pro. I have also looked at the MacBook Pro 15 inch laptop although I already have an iPad 2 that I use as a mobile device.

One of the problems I'm having is that new 4k monitors are starting to hit the marketplace. Lenovo Thinkvision Pro is one 4k monitor that is going on sale in April for $799. Should I wait until I can get a 4k monitor rather than buy a retina display?

Also, what is the best PC? I have used PCs all of my life and have recently thought about switching to Apple. I'm not sure if I'm making the right decision. Digital Storm makes some good gaming rigs it seems but I haven't used a computer for gaming in quite some time. I could always just get a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One.

The good PC I think would be a:
Core i7
4GB RAM
GeForce GTX 680 graphics

I recommend that you stay with a PC especially if you are a gamer since most of the games (or any other software for that matter mostly) come out for windows and have PC spec based requirements so it will be harder to know if a game will run on your mac or not I know it is possible to install windows on a mac but there's a chance of driver incompatibility plus there's no point in switching to a mac if you're just install windows on it.
Other than that it will take some getting use to.

I don't think you should go mac, they are really over priced for the specs you can get much cheaper on a pc.

i'm selling my PC for £470 if your interested. Its good and runs a lot of the latest games. I just don't have time to play anymore. Check it out.
