Which brand of laptops is the most sustainable/lasts the longest?

I'm currently looking to buy a new laptop, price range around £500-£600. I don't a little bit about laptops but would like to know which company has the most sustainable, long lasting laptop. One that doesn't break down after a year.

I have also seen many people say SONY is a good option

Any laptop that is branded as a Business class laptop are very durable. Some of these are the Lenovo Thinkpad, HP Probook, Dell Latitude etc. These are much more durable than consumer laptops and can last 5+ years without a sitch. Only thing is if you care about looks, which business laptops are plain, bland and very minimalist, which I love. They seldomly come with webcams if that is important for you. Also, Thinkpads are crazy expensive nowadays so I recommending getting a used one on ebay. They are usually in good condition but make sure to read the description really carefully. I got my T400 for $100 but it didn't have an OS ie Windows and it had a faulty battery pack which I replaced with a new 9 cell I got for $20 on ebay. Domt get anything newer than the T420, after that, they started lowering down on the quality of the notebooks. I recommend the T420 with a 2nd gen intel and it'll be around your price range or less.

Toshiba is pretty nice. I have satellite l505 and its very durable. I spilled liquids on it, punched it in rage really fast, smashed it, left it in dust and cold, sometimes played games for 12 hours a day, heat is not a problem either. Just clean the hardware once a year and its perfect. I have been using it for 5+ years

If you are lucky and very good technician like me, then anyone is better used almost all brands for more then 10 years.
Sony, IBM, Toshiba, Dell, HP, etc
still using my Pentuim M HP Laptop, without any problem for the past 8 years.
