When I replaced my old partial damaged monitor to a new one and pressed on the power button the screen turns white, but when I reconnected the old one it works fine so I think the problem isn't from my laptop, I thought to return it back and get a new one, but I said to myself to ask you first, anyone can help me please?

With no clues on the "new one" make, model, connection cable type, video settings of the laptop, no accurate guessing is possible.

Thanks for responding, but the problem solved, I got back to the shop and the monitor appeared to be damaged so I replaced it with another oner it works fine
