What computer should I buy?

I'm looking fora fairly powerful notebook, with a decently small size and weight. I would like it usable for school related work but also able to play games at a high frame rate. Display wise, I would like at least a 1080P IPS display, but something along the lines of that would still be acceptable. Spec wise, I would like something with the same juice (the reason I say "same juice" is because I don't care if it's an AMD equivalent) as the quad-core intel 4602q processor (basically just I7 for non computer geeks), and the intel Niveda GTX 780 GPU. Storage wise, I would enjoy a 400 to 500 GB hard drive, though If there's a faster drive (like an SSD) I would just live with a 120 or 250 GB drive. My budget will come at 1000 to 2500 dollars, which would mean I have less of a limit, but the lower the price the happier my wallet gets.
thanks for just READING my spec list for the notebook I'm looking to get (meaning it was long)

I'm really clueless right now so it would for some suggestions.

Purchasing a laptop is a highly personal decision. You need to decide what type of keyboard you want: do you want a full sized keyboard or are you okay with something smaller? Do you like or despise the chicklet keyboards like apple uses? Do you want a backlit keyboard? Do you want a numeric keypad? Do you want a touchpad and/or point stick? Do you want 2 mouse buttons or 3? Do you want them above or below the touchpad? How large a screen: 13"? 14"? 15.6"? 17"? If you are highly mobile, then smaller is lighter. If you don't move around much then bigger means heavier but a much more visible screen.
These are all things to ponder which have a significant impact on how happy you are with your laptop experience.

As far as your other specs go, I would suggest you look at the Lenovo Yogas. They have some gaming machines there.

An i5 will probably serve you as well as an i7. Both are quad core CPUs but the i7 has hyperthreading meaning each core can handle two threads at the same time so it emulates an 8 core processor. The reality is, however, that unless your software is specifically written to take advantage of multiple cores/parallel processing, an application is only going to use 1 CPU at a time.

This is where I got my notebook for school great store. http://newworldtechs.com/collections/laptops/products/acer-aspire-v5-552p-85556g75arr-15-6-touchscreen-led-notebook-amd-a-series-a8-5557m-2-10-ghz-red
