Should I return my gaming laptop for a desktop?

I have recently just bought a Lenovo Ideapad Y700-17, with very good specifications.

Intel Core i7 @2.6gh
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M
16GB of DDR4 ram

and I think the rest of the **** doesn't matter.

However, I can definitely run most games, if not every game, however not at ultra settings which I don't feel is necessary to run it at ultra settings anyhow.

I do like to mod my games a little bit, and I'm sure my computer can handle it as I can run GTAV at 60fps or more on medium settings.

Long story short; I paid $1,538.99 for this laptop, and do you think the mobility is worth it? Sometimes I just enjoy sitting in my bed playing games, as I don't like to sit at my desk too much unless I'm using a wheel.

Is a desktop really worth the return of the laptop?

Refreshing older computers?

I've been running remanufactured (ebay) Dell GX520 and 620 SFF at my
business for many years with great success. I just bought a used IBM / Lenovo
ThinkCentre M58 because is seems to hold faster processors. I know these units
have seen daily use in Schools and business environments so I was wondering if
it would be a good idea to replace some of the major parts of these computers
with NOS? Power supply would probably be the most important to change or at
least clean? Probably a new Hard Drive? Motherboard? Leave it alone or
replace it? Processor? Anything else I should maybe replace? Again, I would
replace with factory spec NEW parts but probably upgrade ram to 4GB and run
the fastest processor the MB could hold. My needs are simple. 160GB. 3.0 ishh
processor. 4GB Ram. I would 2 units. One on XP and one on Win7. More parts
available for the Dell but I have found some Lenovc parts. Good or bad idea?

Is this a good PC for me? Any extra tips?

So I've decided to buy my first gaming PC and wasn't sure if this one was good. I wasn't sure when to get it but I figure now was the time since Lenovo is having a sale. Would I be able to play games like CSGO day z h1z1 rainbow six siege and GTA 5 smoothly on medium settings? Please let me know and if you have any tips for a new PC let me know.

What computer is faster, and better over all?

I'm having a hard time deciding on what computer to get, its between a Dell 3000 desktop and a Lenovo 300s desktop. Everything between these two are pretty much similar, they both have 8gb of ram, 1tb of hard drive space, and both use intel i5, the only difference really besides that the Lenovo is a lot smaller is that the Dell is a dual processor up to 3.40 GHz speeds, and the Lenovo is a quad core processor with speeds at 2.9 GHz… So what one is better? Which one would preform the best under pressure from a game, or multiple windows open at the same time? Much help needed as soon as possible!

Lenovo Thinkcentre E73 graphics card replacement?

How difficult would it be to throw a GTX 960/970 with the Thinkcentre E73? Somewhere I heard it required low profile cards, but if that's the case then I should just be able to put the thing in a larger case.
