Are Lenovo desktop computers good?

We got one on Thursday and so far we have had two problems. First issue was a virus which I understand any computer can get but today our internet doesn't work on the computer. Our Wi-Fi works good just not the internet on our desktop computer.

Internet not working on Windows 8? What could be the issue?

Added (1). The internet was working fine last night and this morning. Just suddenly a few hours ago it stopped working.

Computer shutsdown when repairing Wi-Fi?

Ok, so my co-workers computer Wi-Fi stopped working, and he had no idea how to fix it. So i went over and right-clicked the symbol in the bottom right, and after telling it to repair itself, it ran into an error and instantly Shutdown. The moniter sat there in "standby mode" and the computers power light was flashing green.
We restarted it and the Wi-Fi was working o send the erroe report, but about a minute later the Wi-Fi dropped again, and instead of having it do the automatic repair, i manually disabled the card, and while "enableing" it again crashed when an error popped up.
No matter what USB slot we have the adaptor in it seems to cause this sudden shutdown.
I have no idea what could cause a shutdown while repairing the Wi-Fi. This is the first i've ever seen of this.

Specs:
Computer is IBM Thinkcentre with Win XP installed.
Wi-Fi card is Linksys Wireless-N USB Adaptor (N300)

Is windows 8 good for game development and gaming?

I have a desktop running windows 7 home and am using that for game development in unity and gaming on and off steam. I know nothing about windows 8 but I've heard that it has issues with gaming. Planning to get a lenovo y50 to do game Devc and gaming on the ggo which comes with windows 8. I've also heard of an app for windows 8 that lets you use windows 7… So how does that work?

Also would it be hard to transfer data and stuff of the like between a windows 7 PC and a windows 8 laptop?

I can't decide which computer to get?

Upgrading my Display Adapter from NVIDIA to ATI Radeon on a Lenovo 740 all-in-one?

I'm not good at this type of thing, but I do need to upgrade to a better display. I want to upgrade my default Display adapter (and card?) …

FROM:

NVIDIDA GeForce GT 630 if you need that) (driver?) on a Lenovo all-in-one desktop:

TO:

ATI Radeon HD 5670.

2 questions:

1. Can I do this without upgrading the video card? (sorry if this is a dumb question). NVIDIA maxes out at 1920x1080. I need the 2560x1440 that ATI Radeon one offers.

2. Can a Lenovo A-series all in one 740 model even accommodate the above driver and/or video card that I want? I don't know about "bus" issues, motherboard, etc.

Which computer could be sold for the most money?

I'm trying to clear up some computers since I've been told I have too many.

I already have a nice gaming laptop, i7, 16GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 980M Graphics card that i bought due to needing to downsize. Now I'm just trying to decide which computer would fetch me more money.

First computer is a laptop, specs:
Lenovo Y510
15.6" 1080p display
Intel i7-4700MQ 2.4GHZ-3.4GHZ Quad-core with hyper-threading
16GB Ram
2x Nvidia GT755M 2GB GDDR5 in SLI
1TB HDD
Windows 7

Note: I can swap out the 1TB HDD for a 960GB SSD that I already have as well. But ONLY if it would be worth it on selling it since it was an added cost.

Bought in April of 2014 (this year)

Second computer is a custom built desktop, specs:
NZXT Phantom 410 Mid-tower Fire Engine Red
Intel Xeon E3-1230V3 Haswell, 3.3GHz- 3.7GHz Quad-Core w/ Hyper-threading
16GB Ram
EVGA GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked with EVGA ACX Cooler, 2GB GDDR5 256bit
128GB Crucial SSD
3TB HDD
24" 1920x1080p Display
Basic Keyboard and mouse
Windows 7

Built in late June 2014 (this year)

I'm planning on only selling one of these computers and only sell the one that will fetch me the most money/ most return.

Also I may just sell both of them, but was just trying to get a ballpark figure on how much each could be sold for.

Thanks for answering and points to best answer!

Added (1). Wanted to add that either may be sold locally first, then I may expand on shipping if i don't get the right offers.
