Need a opinion Laptop or GTX 1070?

Ok i have a gaming PC with a gtx 660TI 3gb i7 3770k clocked to 4.1ghz base is like 3.7ghz 16gb of ram… Should i upgrade the pc or buy a GTX 1060 laptop which i can get off windows store in canada for like 1300$ for a Lenovo Y720 or buy a macbook 13 2014 for 875$ ?

one thing to know about me buying a macbook or a laptop etc i do video edit on youtube i post videos and so on, i heard macbooks are good for video editing and so on also Nvidia is coming out with Gefore Now For Mac which means you can rent a cloud server using either a GTX 1060 Or a GTX 1080 cloud based computer and run games off a macbook or any windows computer mac and windows is being supported by Nvidia for Geforce Now, the only thing about the graphics card is IF i can find one for 500$ not paying 650 for a GTX 1070 mind as well get a 1080 for that price but the games i have currently are not that demanding besides wither games

For a GTX 1070 you might want to overclock CPU by another 100 mhz more to get the full potential of the 1070. If you want one for $500, you will have to get an used one. If there's no acceptable price range, you can consider a gtx 980 ti as its performance is about the same. You might be able to grab a 980 ti for around $550 as is much older.

For cloud graphic gaming… I won't count on the stability and performance. You can also overclock for more performance increase. A 1070 will probably last you at least 3 to 4 years or so in gaming. I highly doubt in 3 years rent can get you a $600 worth performance.

It's fine to grab the laptop if you plan on moving around and game outside of home. I won't even try to bring mac into gaming still. The OS is just too different and many games won't even support it.
