Should I buy a Macbook Pro Laptop?

Recently my father and I have discussed purchasing a apple macbook pro laptop instead of a Lenovo (which I thought I was getting). I know there are a lot of similarities and differences but I really just need some input.
I will be studying fashion design in college and I know I will be using a lot of software (jUST design floor had 3 mac labs! 3!)
I asked my friend who works at Best Buy and he thought Lenovo or Mac would be good, but if I was to get a Mac to get a MacBook Pro. I know the price differences are huge so this is hard for me

Lenovo laptop says that i can't access internet because of side by side configuration?

My laptop will let me access everything but when i try to access the web by chrome or any other way it saysthe application has failed because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe toll for more details. Help what do i do i don't undersatnd what that means. It also says that i'm missing an extend player for my important documents please help

Can I play a 6gb ram game with a 4gb ram pc?

I planned to buy assassin's creed unity, and when I checked the minimum requirement of the specs of the game it need 6gb ram, but I only have 4gb ram. Can I play it smoothly?
My pc is Lenovo laptop windows 8.0,
Intel Core i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz,
4gb ram with 3.86gb usable
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Nvidia GeForce GT 740M version 311.27
no game card

I can play games like black ops2 and battlefield 3 just sometimes will have some glitch. So I wonder if Assassin's Creed can work on my pc.

How to calibrate a monitor on laptop?

Ok I'm a bit furious about this because this is not a new issue.

Problem 1: I need to calibrate it. Windows is offering a solution - that "questionaire" or what it's called, but it's relying on BUTTONS ON MONITOR.

I have no buttons on monitor. I can't change any values on the monitor.

Problem 2: even with basic things like the contrast, that I actually can change with the windows calibrating thingy, it looks like my screen is "Stuck" meaning, I change it, it stays changed for a second or two and then switches back to looking like before. Even when I push the contrast bar somwehere else and hit OK, the screen looks the same and when I start the calibration again it is set on the same numbers as before

so I have no idea how can I calibrate it, what do you suggest?

Added (1). I have a Lenovo G580, win7, graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M. (I don't know where to find the other stuff) I update the driver for graphics card frequently, everytime an update pops up (there's a program along with it, with alerts)

on the site of Lenovo there's no relevant driver for my laptop to this problem

As I said, I use a calibration system Win provides, it's a form of questionaire where you can adjust the values during those steps. Which doent work, immediately switches back.
