Are performance ratings of the cpu true? If not what should i overclock to?

I have a lenovo pc, it has 2ghz. Now when i go to system requirement labs it says it is performance rated at 3.6. What does this mean? Can i play games that require 3ghz because of this with no problems? If not i would overclock, i don't know what's the safest i should overclock to either.

PC overheating and shutting down?

So I have an old pc that I ecided to fix up so I orders a new power supply and more RAM and all of the sudden the pc keeps shutting down even when its not very hot. I think its the power supply(i bought it on Amazon and it had good reviews, no one talked about this) the computer is dusted out and the only things I think it could be is the thermal paste or power supply.

Lenovo yoga 2 or Windows surface 3?

I need something light to carry with my books at college and I really like the yoga bit a friend said that surface is better although it's a little over my budget. So I need some help!

My Lenovo c260 screen won't turn on after trying to boot Ubuntu from USB?

I tried booting Ubuntu from USB several times, but it didn't work. Then one time, after starting up it told me to choose an OS. The options were Windows and Ubuntu. Of course, I chose ubuntu and waited a little bit and left the room. When I came back, the screen was blank, one light was on (the one on the far left of the three in the bottom left corner of the PC), and I could still hear the fan running inside. That was yesterday, and it's still the same. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting, but everything I do accomplishes nothing.

Can't get new SSD to recognize in computer? - 1

Added (1). I just bought a Crucial mx200 500gb ssd M.2 Type 2280 and I can't get it to register on my computer so I can clone my original hard drive to this one. I have a lenovo yoga 2 13 For some reason it only recognizes it as a mass removable media storage device and thats it. Dis management recognizes it but I don't have to option to format it. I tried to boot from BIOS to see if it was recognized there but no luck either. Any ideas?
