How to connect my mouse to my Lenovo Y50 laptop?

Okay so I just got this laptop and I see all the ports. All of them are different. I checked all sides but I don't see it. It is a wireless mouse that has a USB that won't fit. Please any help?

Is it alright to use a laptop without a battery for half a year or longer?

I have been using a Lenovo IdeaPad P580 for nearly three years without significant problems, but the battery has recently died, as in it doesn't charge at all. It has been dying for the past year, and barely lasted 5 minutes from full charge one time.

I hope to continue using my laptop for at least half a year longer as there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong.

Would it be alright to use it for that long plugged in without battery the whole time?
Would it damage the laptop in any way?
Or should I spend $40-50 dollars on a replacement battery that may be used?

Will this laptop be good for gaming?

I want to play games like minecraft, skyrim and counter strike on medium or high settings. The laptop has 8gb RAM, an i5 processor and intel HD 4000 graphics. Is it good enough?

Why does my computer keep lagging?

Iv'e had a W8 Lenovo laptop for a couple of months now and it has always been a little laggy, but recently it has started to go totally nuts; programs crash all the time and freezes. I really don't have high standards but even I can't take it when moving the cursor causes lag. Iv'e done multiple searches with several anti-virus softwares and cleaned my hard drive every day. Iv'e even tried to delete everything and start over. Please Help ME! I can't afford a new computer or reinstall windows. Is there anything that can fix this?

Which laptop is best for video editing?

I'm deciding on getting a new laptop but I'm unsure of which one is the best for me. I see the ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71 come up a lot ( http://www.amazon.com/...00T7XRH2A/ ) but it has a lot of bad reviews saying it gets BSOS and other start up problems that come over time, not sure If i would want to risk it. The price on that one is $1050 and it has 2GB 960M NVIDIA, 16GB RAM, and best of all a i7-4720HQ. Now it has a 1T 7200 RPM hard drive. The other laptop I'm considering is by Acer, a more rounded company in my opinion, and can be had for around $1000. It is the Acer Aspire V15 VN7-591G-70RT ( http://www.amazon.com/...00WJSQRNK/ ) and it has the same processor, but only 8GB of ram installed (same 16GB max as the other) BUT it has a 1T 5200 RPM hard drive. But from what I read it is a more rounded computer. Would I be better off spending around the same amount of money and getting less with the Acer, or take a chance and get the Asus? They are very similar and I like the less gaming appeal of the Acer. Pro's and con's!

I changed my Monitor to display a dead monitor. Now I can't see anything to revert it back?

I have a Lenovo laptop whose backlight went out. So I plugged in a separate monitor and everything was working well. But the display was giving me a split monitor and I was losing stuff to the margins because it thought I was using two monitors when I was only using the one I plugged in. In trying to get the margins to be readable, I inadvertently chose the dead Lenovo monitor in the Screen Resolution choices of Monitor 1 and 2. Now I can't see anything and I don't know how to get it back to the plug in.
