Lenovo, Windows 8.1 64-bit, AMD Radeon R6 Graphics
I can't seem to adjust my screen brightness. I tried pressing the F11 and F12 buttons, didn't work. I tried the sliders in the settings thingy and control panel, didn't work. I don't remember exactly when
it started but last night it was still working. Ad also I had an update last night before shutting my pc down and i'm not sure if that update has affected this brightness thing lol.

I'm in the market for a new laptop. I used to have an Acer Aspire v3 with an Intel i3 core processor and it wasn't too useful for me. I program in C++ using Visual Studio Ultimate. I'm looking for a laptop thats lightweight, thin, and that has an Intel i7 core processor. My budget is under $1,000. I was looking at the Lenovo yoga 3 pro but the core M doesn't really stand out. I will also be doing game design using Unreal Engine 4 and some photoshop. So I need a laptop that has the power to run complex software effectively and efficiently. So thin, lightweight, touchscreen maybe, and an Intel i7 core processor. If you can list out some laptop to check out I would greatly appreciate it.
Why does Lenovo made the Thinkpad business laptops now? I thought IBM made them?
So I'm gonna buy a laptop, and it comes with i7 and 1tb and the hd 5500. I was wondering if use be able to play at least sims 3 and the secret world on high or medium at least

My lenovo Ideapad laptop isn't turning on or charging, it doesn't recognize the charger when plugged in. School starts soon and I really need it fixed. I've already tried taking out the battery, that didn't work either;/

I have all the drivers install most recent.
The fps drops occur in everygame, note i'm not getting low fps. MY fps is 150 or lower all within playable range but then drops to 7 or 10 and then jumps back up. This is not a temp issue for the temp constantly stays below 50C. Any answer is helpful.
