A thin, lightweight and beautiful laptop just for college and league of legends?

I'm in search of a thin, lightweight and beautiful laptop, with which I can do college work, such as word, powerpoint, etc, and with which I can play league of legends in at least medium settings with no fps drops.

I have spent around a week searching for gaming laptops, from the bottom ones like the Lenovo Y720 to Razer Blade 15. My eyes especially got caught on MSI GS65 Stealth Thin, as it looked awesome and it had enough specs for things that would need to get my work done. But, I have come to a conclusion that, why am I going to spend that much amount of money on a powerful gaming laptop when all I will be playing is League of Legends?

The laptop that I have been using for the last 3 years is Lenovo y50, i7 with GTX960M. It runs everything fine and I can play league with around 100+ fps on low settings (excluding teamfights and although the screen refresh rate is just 60), and since its been almost 4 years I just wanted to change for the good.

As entertainment other than League, I listen to music, and I watch a lot, literally a lot of movies and animes.
I do research a lot for college work and I have lots of files for which I think 500GB of storage will not be enough.

Considering my requirements, I was looking into Huawei Matebook X Pro, but the GPU is not strong enough to run League at a decent level. There are other laptops like Dell, HP, but all of them just doesn't look gorgeous enough for me.

Feel free to suggest me anything, prefer below $1500.

Video from my laptop to my 4k projector is not as smooth as it is on the laptop? Lenovo Laptop connected to Optoma UHD60 via HDMI?

The laptop is connected to a Onkyp system which is then connected to the Optoma UHD60 projector. The audio is good and clear, but the video isn;t as smooth in terms of frame transtiion as it is on the laptop. I understand that the colors will have a difference, as the laptop will always produce better colors. The length of my cable is approx 40 feet. Its a Blue Rigger cable.

Please advise what am i doing wrong?

Gaming Laptop under 1500 mainly for league of legends?

I'm looking for a gaming laptop under 1500.

I mainly play League of Legends, watch a lot of movies and use Microsoft for school.

Knowing any laptop even under 1000 can play lol, I want to make sure that I don't have to play lol at lowest settings. I have Lenovo y50 for almost 2 years and it is a good laptop, but when playing Lol, I have to set at the lowest settings in order to get decent fps.

I do not wish to buy another Lenovo, rather I was looking into MSI gaming laptops.
They have a lot of series and models and I have no idea which one is the right one for me.
Was thinking on Acer Predator Helios 300 but did not like the WASD highlight, but prefer backlit keyboard.

One of the major reasons that I bought Y50 was because it looked amazing.
I do care about how cool it looks. Prefer 15.6, and want to avoid thick laptops since I got used to the Y50.

Also, something which has fewer issues with heat, which can withstand a moderate amount of work or multitasking without overheating.

And of course, a rig that can play League maybe not on max settings but at least on medium settings with no fps drop or lag, for a long period of time(sometimes I play LoL for around 6 to 9 hours continuously).

Battery life would not matter to me much since I never found myself using it without connecting the charger.

Thanks in advance, any suggestion would be great!

Lenovo legion y520 or hp probook 450 g5?

I'm going to get a new laptop for gaming and I'm confused between getting the Lenovo legion y520 and the hp probook 450 g5. Both are good but the Lenovo favours the graphics card as it has a proccesor of i5 and a graphics card of 4 vram and the hp favours the proccesor as it has i7 proccesor and 2gb vram. I just want games to run with high FPS and no lag and both are around the same price.

How to forcefully reset a laptop?

Hi, I'm stuck with this garbage of a Lenovo laptop, the space is weak, literally only 27.8 GB, I've CONSTANTLY been trying to reset the entire laptop for a good 6 hours now. Legit deleted every app I have downloaded, every picture, even ran the disk cleaner. All I keep getting is "You need (blank) amount of space to reset". This is getting on my nerves now, how do I reset this?

How to solve 'your battery needs replacement' issue on Lenovo windows 7 laptop?

Okay so I have Lenovo windows 7 laptop which I bought around 2011/2012. Yesterday night when I was browsing on my laptop, a cross mark suddenly popped up to the battery icon on the task bar and when I clicked it, it said my battery might need replacement. I tried some solutions of how to solve this issue by watching its YouTube tutorials and reading some tips on some websites, but none of them worked. My main question is, will it completely shut down my laptop even if I don't change the battery after it's warning?

Why won't my laptop load?

I have a Lenovo Z70. When I turn it on it displays the Lenovo logo. Ask if I want to skip the disk scanning and then turns to a black screen. It's not frozen cause I can see the mouse move and it has the loading sign next it. But I waited a while and it didn't prompt me to log in or anything. Any ideas?

To get a new laptop or not to get a new laptop?

So my laptop is pushing 6 years old. Battery's shot, A few of the keys don't work (had to get a secondary keyboard) the headphone jack doesn't work, fans been a tiny bit rattly/vibrating (Not really a concerning level) and this past week i have been having issue with vidoes lagging/freezing/not playing/playing without sound etc. Even videos on my hard drive (so its not the internet, internet speed it great) other than that it runs really well. There aren't really any software issues, mostly hardware and its little things. But at 6 years old, who knows how long that will last.

My work discount program sent a "sale" for 35 percent off lenovo laptops (thats what I have now and I love it) they have some really good deals to start with. They even offer financing. Problem is even with financing it will be a stretch affordability wise. I really don't have a lot of spare money. So I'm trying to decide wether or not I should take advantage now, or wait a few months and push the life of this one a little longer.

What's wrong with my laptop? - 3

It is a Lenovo laptop. The screen won't turn on. I can't turn the laptop on and everything works but the screen. Sometimes I will see a green tint or I can barely make it what is on the screen. No light comes from the screen. It has done this before and worked again about a month later, but I can't really wait that long. Any advice?

How to fix a laptop that makes sounds despite being on silent?

I have a Lenovo Yoga 370 laptop and I always have it on silent, however it continues to make some sounds. For example, when I plug the charger into the laptop it produces a very loud notification sound. Most other sounds are muted, but a few like the one I mentioned are not. Can someone please explain to me how can I go about fixing this problem?
