I'm looking for a new laptop and i found that the price of lenovo g505s whic is 550 dollars pretty good for it's components. AMD A10- 5750 processor and graphics card equivalant to amd radeon HD 8640 and 6gb ddr3 ram and a 1tb 5400 rpm hdd that is the best i found comparing to other dell and toshiba laptops at nearly the same price range offering i3 processor and intel hd 4000 graphics card which are good for nothing. So should i buy it? I had a lenovo t61 and got caught in the famous nvidia gpu failure and i'm afraid to get another lenovo but my friends say that this one is good. So suggestions please? Thanks

So, my Lenovo G500 has had problems with the backing, as it kept falling out, exposing the back part, which held the fan and other stuff. It was a hassle, but nothing crazy. But today, the fan fell out! The wire seems still attached but I don't see where to put the wire from the fan so it actually works? I'm afraid my laptop will overheat without it, please help!
Best laptop brand toshiba hp or sony?
I have a Lenovo Ideapad N580. And it was working fine until a few weeks ago. My Wi-Fi signal is only 3-1 bars, but I'm only 15 feet away from the router. My mother's and sister laptops are connecting fine and there and my smart phone is fine, and my sister is further away, so it's my laptop.
I did two factory resets but to no avail. I took the back off and unplugged the two Wi-Fi cords, u plugged there called antanas I may be wrong. But I unplugged and plugged them back in, still low connection. They aren't tangled or lose there fine.
I can connect to the Wi-Fi but it's just a low signal? When I plug Ethernet is faster. But no one want to do that. I can be right next to the router but only have 4 bars max… I don't gave my warranty anymore so can't send it to Lenovo. Is there away I can solve this at home? I'm a little tech-savvy.

I guess the best right now is the gtx 880m and 780m, but they are very expensive i wanna know would the gtx 860m or 870 do the job for me or not.

please advice me if its worth it for the 880m i will try to save money and buy it

I'm confused between 3 devices for school next year. The MacBook air 13.2'' 2014, Lenovo yoga pro 3 and surface pro 3. All of them are light, but the aesthetics of the device are important to me also. I like the surface pro 3 because of the pen and onenote integration, the Lenovo because the specs, motion control and versatility but the aesthetics are a bit off. The MacBook air is the latest trend and it looks good, but it doesn't have a touchscreen for a pen input. Help me which one is good for school that has pen input, looks good (mainly aluminum, magnesium devices look good), light and has good specs because I have IT at school and I need a spec heavy laptop for programming and testing games. I can't choose which device shall i get, the price range can't go higher than AUD 3,000.
For the past few months (6 or 7) my laptop (Lenovo with Windows 7, sorry I don't know a lot about computers) has been getting the blue screen of death. Not often, maybe once a month or less, and it always goes away before I can read any of it.
I scan my computer often (every day about) with Webroot and only a week ago did a virus pop up. I removed it and now my scans are clean. I don't go onto any unsafe websites so I don't know what could be causing the screens.
How can I stop the screens? Is the only option to buy a new laptop, or can I fix my laptop myself?
Which one should I buy as a grad school student? Lenovo Ideapad Y50 Touch OR HP Envy Touchsmart 15?
