Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 Core i7 Or Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E531 Core i5?

I need a laptop that remains with me for 5 years, I will start university soon so I need a NICE laptop for studying, reading books, using the net and watching HD movies.

The Z510 costs $818 while E531 $705, I have $705, but can pay $818.

So which one?

Help in finding a new laptop?

I'm looking for a laptop with:
-a good keyboard (wanna use it for writing)
-has multimedia purpose (for editing pictures and videos)
-i7 processor (please don't recommend a laptop below i7, I want it for gaming and stuff)

I also prefer a sleek and silver laptops. But never mind this if you can't think of any.
I'm probably considering Lenovo, Asus, Acer and Samsung. Which one do you think is the best?

I'm into Lenovo since it has a good keyboard (but the cons is they don't have a good looking laptops, others say they have a bad touchpad). I'm thinking of Lenovo z410. Any reviews?

I'm into Acer (probably considering Acer Aspire s7, but it's very expensive)

How to I access Bios on Lenovo?

My Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 currently has 32 bit windows 7. I have the USB flash drive boot disk for 64 bit that I would like to install. I can't open bios from the F2, F12, Esc, Del, or "Novo" button located next the power button, when prompted. Is there another way to boot using the flash drive? Is there another way to install 64 bit windows 7 on a 32 bit without using bios?

Why is my laptop fan suddenly louder?

I have a Lenovo G505 which i have has a few months and it was really quiet. I've been away meaning me not using the laptop for a week (i use it daily) and the fan seems significantly louder, even when not doing anything. Is this normal?

Also it 'beeps' randomly with a little double beep. What could it mean?

I can't adjust the screen brightness on my laptop?

I have a lenovo something or other (got it as a christmas present, not sure of its actual make) and just today when I turned it on, the screen brightness was a bit low so I hit the fn button and up arrow (the keys to up the brightness on it) and it wouldn't move up from the first notch up. I tried manually adjusting the scroll bar, tried going into the display settings, nothing that I could find would work. Does anyone at least know what's wrong if not how to fix it?

Also, if it's any help, it went to sleep while updating yesterday and a guy at the computer ship had to take out the battery, but it would adjust after that, only now after I've shut it down does it fail to change.
