What's the Best Gaming Laptop to Get?
I need a gaming laptop that can contain a great amount of GB and be able to connect a portable scanner to. It should be as good as a Lenovo

I'm thinking about getting a new laptop for computer engineering, since my current laptop, Lenovo G570, is a bit heavy and has a battery of 1 hour. I've had it for 2 years so far, and it runs okay, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to get a new laptop since the one I have already has some good specs. If I do get a new laptop, I'd prefer it to use Windows, have a good battery life, be lightweight, have around a 13 inch screen, and be good for coding, a bit of gaming, making presentations, writing papers, and watching tv online. It would also be great if it were under $1000.
If anyone could give their input, it would be great!
I'm currently debating whether I should get a Lenovo Y510P, MSI GE60 Apache Pro, or Asus Q550LF. I'm not willing to really spend over $1,200. I'm going to be using it for light to medium gaming, browsing, and not much else. Battery life is not so much of a problem for me as I will generally always have it connected to the outlet while gaming. Although less than 4 hours is kind of inconvenient. Portability does not matter to me as much either. I'm likely going to be playing League of Legends, some newer games, and Steam titles. Any suggestions or advice on my current choices?
Hi, I've had a Lenovo Laptop for about a year now and suddenly the mouse is going crazy just by my hand hovering over the touchpad, I don't actually have to touch anything for it to move.
Although I don't see why the sensitivity would have changed all of a sudden I figured I would try to lower it anyway but I don't seem to have a sensitivity option.
My touchpad is Synaptics TouchPad V7.5 and when go o mouse properties> Device settings> settings… I get a list of things I can change but nothing that says sensitivity, I've tried Googling this issue but wherever I see people complain of this problem no one seems an answer as to how to fix it, but there's definitely no option to do with sensitivity on this menu. Any help?
More importantly, may my touchpad be broken? It was fine, I left the room to make a coffee and let the dogs out, I came back and this all of a sudden was happening. My laptop was quite hot, usually I balance it on my lap so it can get air and stay relatively cool but I sat it down on my bed while I left the room, could it be that the heat messed up my touchpad and I'll have to buy a mouse?
Any advice is much appreciated
Added (1). Also I keep being taken to the top of pages or going back pages without clicking anything, this is just happening from trying to move the mouse around
I'm mostly going to be using the laptop for gaming and the game I want to play are like Counter Strike Global Offensive, Battlefield 3,

I wanna buy a laptop. Which brands is better? Acer? Asus? Lenovo? Dell? S…
I have a dell laptop. Every week there will be two days where I might work from my car for about 2-3 hours each time. So I plug my laptop power cable into the car and then open up Microsoft word. That means I work from my car about 6 hours per week.
Is this bad for my car battery?
I'm soon to be a student going into college and I need to buy a laptop. I want a lenovo laptop that will be able to play League of Legends, DOTA2, and various Steam games without a problem. I'm looking for one under $850. I would appreciate other brand of laptops recommendations also.
I was thinking of:

Oh, if you can't name a laptop specs I should look out for would be hopeful.
