How to stop my lenovo ideapad y510p from showing an animation after being idle for 1 minute?

My Lenovo Ideapad y510p shows an animation after being idle for 1 minute. The animation shows off the features of the laptop and basically makes it look great. I want the animation to stop because if i have a 1 minute conversation with someone or go get my headphones, it goes to that animation and it is annoying. Can someone tell me how to disable it?

What PC laptops do you programmers prefer?

I'm going to buy a new laptop and I'm a computer science major so I'm curious to hear what programmers prefer when it comes to their laptops. I'm a PC guy so no Macs. I'm thinking about something from Dell. Maybe an Inspiron 7000 series. Don't know if I can afford an XPS. $799 is really my top price tag. Can you guys recommend me anything? I prefer at least 4GB of RAM, a 4th Gen Intel i5 processor. I'm guessing 500GB hard drive would suffice unless someone can tell me otherwise.

Why does my lenovo ideapad z510? Unexpectedly shut down?

What kind of laptop brand is the best for playing WoW. I like Toshiba brand a lot?

I HATE ACER. I've had one before so please don't put one of those for an option. I really like Toshiba, I'm not like technically savvy. So if you could please help me in what kind of laptop I should get. I've played WoW for a while so I know it can be very laggy, also I want good graphics and all the good stuff. Not looking to go above 400-500$.

What are the specs of the computer that will fit my needs?

I decided that I want to get a Windows laptop, but I'm not sure about the specs that would be appropriate for what I'm trying to do. I want to make a backup of over 32GB of files I have on my flash drive and copy them onto my computer. I will be working mostly with Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects (and they take up a lot of room). I'm gonna have a few additional free programs installed, but aside from that, that's all I need my computer for. I won't be doing any games or anything.

I just need to get an idea of what to prepare myself for. I've had so many problems with my last two for such a long time and I don't know why. This time, I want everything to go straight. So what are the specs of a greatly functioning computer that will allow me to do these things? Please be as specific as possible.

Added (1). The price doesn't madder. I just need something that works.

Which laptop should I purchase?

I'm torn between two laptops. I can get a used IBM Lenovo Thinkpad T400 laptop for $193.00. It has a few minor scratches on the outside case. I'll have to buy a new battery it. It won't hold a charge without the cord. Everything else works great. My other choice is a brand new HP Charcoal 15.6" 15-g019wm Laptop PC for $248. Which one would you choose and why? I can't decide.
