Computer restarted and deleted what I was typing?

I was typing something important on a social media platform (tumblr) when my laptop restarted and i lost the three paragraphs I had written. I was wondering if there's anything on my laptop (lenovo yoga) i could do to get it back or if i should just cut my losses and start over?

What are the chances Lenovo can fix my laptop for free?

I'm a medical student and I got a new Lenovo laptop i3 one with blue cover over the summer and I got frustrated over an email today and kind of lost my composure and started swearing and smashed the keyboard pretty hard.

The laptop was shut off and when I try to turn it back it it only shows the "Lenovo" logo but does not go to the Window start screen.

The laptop is 1 year warranty so it is before expired.

Can Lenovo help fix it free? Where to contact/send laptop for warranty?

Looking for a laptop?

There's so many sites to shop on, it's overwhelming. Here s what I'm looking for:

-2.7 ghz processor
-8 gb of ram
-Single State Drive
-Price not exceeding $935 (thats not including tax)
-Brands I trust: Lenovo, Dell and Asus.
-New, not used or refurbished
-I assume bluetooth is standard, but if not i do want it

Weight isn't an issue, in fact i want it as big as possible. And i don't care if it has a touch screen

Laptop Advice: Lenovo Thinkpad E470 (i7, 8gb Ram) or Lenovo Thinkpad T470 (i3, 4gb Ram) Which one to buy?

I'm buying a laptop for programming and graphic design. I'm willing to pay up to £750. I've seen that the t470 s build is incredible for a laptop of that price but I can't afford to upgrade the hardware. The E470 laptop with great hardware specs is avalible for the same price but apparently doesn't have a decent build. Should I buy something with decent specs that I might not enjoy using because of the poor build or should I sacrifice hardware specs for a cleary well built laptop?

I have never had to pay $69.99 or $6.99 a month for word. WHAT is going on?

I have been using word document on my previous laptop for years and never has it asked me to subscribe to word or to reactivate word again. Now that I have a new laptop and went through the same process as with my previous one, after one year of using word, it all of a sudden is asking me to reactivate word. I have never had to pay $69.99 or $6.99 a month of word. WHAT is going on?
It has the options to BUY, to HAVE PRODUCT KEY, and ADD THIS COMPUTER TO ACTIVE ACCOUNT.

I have already tried the last option mentioned above but that did not work. I entered my email and password but it denies me entrance. I'm not sure if or where I have the product key. Please Help! I'm a college kid, and I do not have $70(plus tax) to be throwing away.

Not that it matters but if it helps, my laptop is:
Lenovo purchased 2016 in August

Thank you in advance to the computer genius that can help me without paying.

I will be starting college in a week or so, and was wondering how I know what type of Ethernet cable to buy. Do I need to look at a plug on my computer or the wall of the dorm room. If I need to look at my computer my laptop is a Lenovo T520 with windows 7 professional if that helps. Also to answer some questions I know might arise yes they have Wi-Fi available but They said they have high speed wired Ethernet avalible as well. And I will not be having a roommate any advice would be great thanks.
