Is the Lenovo Laptop Outlet trustworthy or reliable?

I recently purchased a refurbished laptop from the lenovo outlet.
I was wondering if there are any problems I should expect with the refurbished laptop.
I know that Lenovo itself is a good company with high quality products but the idea of buying a refurbished laptop made me feel a little bit worried.

Why do i hear a cracking noise whenever i open my laptop

So my laptop is like $400 Lenovo, its not super expensive. The cord is very short and i have tripped over it several times and the laptop fell on the ground after i tripped. The laptop does not appear to be damaged and i see no cracks yet. But now when i open the laptop, i hear a crack sound on the right side of the hinge, so what do i do? There's no visible damage yet, but i have had this issue several times with laptops when there would be a cracking noise when its opened and then the hinge begins to crack eventually.

I can't use my laptop keyboard?

I tried shutting it off and restarting but it won't work. I got a windows 10 lenovo laptop. I can't type anything using the keyboard.

ASUS ROG STRIX GL553 vs LENOVO Y700 15ISK vs DELL INSPIRON 15 7567 vs MSI GL62 6QF. Which one should i buy?

I have done my research and its really hard to decide. Every laptop has it flaws. I play games that are demanding in terms of graphics and performance and i'm also a college student so i will carry it around often and my last laptop screen broke because it got sandwiched between the books in my bag.

I found out that ASUS is known for its motherboard and heating problems. Lenovo has heating and battery problems and the anti-glare screen is annoying. Dell Inspiron is kinda ugly because it leaves fingerprint marks. Msi GL62 is largely made out of plastic material and it seems really fragile. Any recommendation?

Saving the storage device on a laptop

Recently my 'Lenovo Ideapad U530 Touch' had it's hinge break, and I've been wanting to build my own PC for a while now. I'm trying to keep my costs as low as possible, and so I don't want to spend nearly $150 on Windows and a new storage device. I would also like to try to keep my files, so I don't have to download everything all over again.

So here's the question: Can I take apart my laptop and reuse the storage? I'm new so I'm not sure if I'd need special cables for that, or if it's even legal- with Window's license and all.

I don't know if this will help, but here's my current PC build idea: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KBfNbj Note that if I bought the storage device and Windows, I would be turning my cheap price of $364 to about $500.
