So looks like my cmos battery on my laptop doesn't work and i need to replace it, but it looks like only my clock is affected by that.Im not in a hurry so is the cmos battery important for something else? Its 1 month like this and i haven't noticed anything else. My laptop is Lenovo y50.
I starting having trouble with my Lenovo g50 laptop. I updated it to windows 10 last night and shut to off before going to bed. It was working this morning except for my microphone. I tried turning it off and back on to see if it would fix my mic and now it won't turn on. It get's to the lenovo logo screen, loads, and then goes black (the screen is still on). What could be the issue and how could I fix it?
I'm willing to spend up to 900$ and possibly a little higher if it's a good laptop! I'm going to need it for school to write papers and spark notes! I need it to have a camera! Be able to download iTunes and Java and possibly have a Touchscreen. Any suggestions?

Added (1). I have a lenovo laptop came with 16gb ram and 1tb hard drive and 25gb ssd. It has an i7 4700MQ 64 bit processor.2 Geforce GT 750M graphics cards. It has been running slow over time. I purchased the laptop in 2013 with windows 8. I upgraded to windows 10 with the latest updates. I haven't used it for gaming for a while. For some reason the computer is slower, but when I check the task manager usage It is always only using around 20% of my ram. Why won't it use the full 16 that it came with?
