Removable devices not recognized and shown in my pc?

I'm using windows 8.1 in 64 bit lenovo G500.
my hard disk is not recognising any CD/DVD but when i insert one the front panel LED will blink
and can hear the sound of its rotation then abruptly it stops.
i noticed that there's no removable devices list in my PC! Its not showing up…
Only 3 drives comprising of my 500GB Storage nothing more than that…

I ran a diagonastic tool, some hardware devicse are not recognised may be due to the upper and lower filters.
i tried to remove filters manually. But there's neither upper nor lower filters in the list…

i tried sfcscan through command prompt and find out that some files are corrupt but the can't remove it automatically.
then i have to check sfc details but i cand find the sfcdetails.txt file any where in the system.

kindly give me some suggestions for the same…

Is there Lenovo OneKey Recovery Alternative? I'm so furious?

I was so furious to Lenovo OneKey Recovery. My computer crashes, and I wanted to restore my system to original state. But whatever I pressed the recovery button, I found it does not work. Tell me why? I have to spend my money on reinstalling system. Oh, s**t! Finally I have to choose AOMEI OneKey Recovery, I have read a warning in http://www.backup-utility.com/okr/lenovo-onekey-recovery-alternative-0326.html. The space of partition can't be resized. Or you can't use Lenovo OneKey Recovery. How terrible the design is, how could programmer guarantee that I won't run out of the space of C: drive? I had to find partition Assistant to extend my C: drive. Could someone explain it to me?

My lenovo c540 touch won't turn on at all. What can I do?

I press the power button to turn it on and it lights on white for like 2 seconds then the light shuts off but the screen doesn't turn on at all. Also the monitor light on/off indicator is on its a white light. I tried to turn it on safe mode but it doesn't work and i unplugged it for 15 seconds but its not working. It did have a lot of virus so maybe that s it too?

Can I sync music from windows to iPhone 5?

Downloaded music to my Lenovo think pad e545 edge. When I plug in my iPhone 5 to the computer, it knows it's an iPhone. When I tried to sync the music it didn't say iPhone was connected even though it was. Can I not sync from windows computer to iPhone or am I screwing something up?

Is it possible to boot with a completely blank hard drive, from a USB stick?

I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, and am ordering an upgrade for the hard drive. If I put a linux OS on a USB, and physically swap out the two hard drives, will I be able to turn on my computer and have it boot from the USB drive?
I know only a little about BIOS/UEFI. Is this stored somewhere else than the hard drive? Will I have to adjust the boot order prior to doing the physical swap?
