Best RAM to buy for my laptop?

I have a Lenovo V570 laptop with 6 GB RAM with an Intel Core i5-2450m CPU. It has a 6GB (2GB & 4GB) PC3-10600 DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM SODIMM DIMM 204-pin Memory.

The max memory it can have is 8 GB, so I can add another 2 GB RAM. I'm willing to spend around $50 to upgrade memory, if it's worth it. Does anyone know which would be my best option?

Is a Macbook worth the money?

I was always taught to always buy and get the most for your money. I had the pleasure to use a macbook pro for about a week. Honestly, I really do not see huge benefits of owning a macbook. The interface change is nice along with the sleek and thin portability, but that all up to personal preference when I think about it. I could get a laptop with even better specs, for example the Lenovo Y50 for literally $200+ cheaper while I sacrifice the portability and screen resolution for more processing power + graphic card. I'm not trying to bash macbooks, I'm trying to learn why people spend so much money to get these. What are your opinions?

Which Laptop should I buy? MacBook Pro(13inch retina) or Dell Inspiron 17R 7737 or Lenovo Y50-70?

I live in Bangalore and I'm an ELECTRONICS and COMMUNICATIONs engineering student(1st year) . I want a high end laptop which is the damn good for Programming, Embedded Systems development (and other stuff which comes in EC) and for entertainment (casual gamer). I need a high end computer because of programming (for emulators and all) and also for gaming. I can afford up to 100,000rs. I don't wanna increase this limit. 5-10k above 100000 is okay. Please tell me among the laptops I've listed or tell me a better one.
