What's wrong with my laptop display?

I have a Lenovo Ideapad running Windows 8. And I have a problem with the display going off and not coming back on unless I restart the computer.

I'm sure it's not a problem with Power Options because sometimes it doesn't do it. After 5 minutes the display turns off while on battery. After 10 minutes on wall power.

But sometimes it won't come back on. Sometimes the display turns off after some time and I come back and I can't wake it back up. Hitting keys, moving the mouse, even hitting the power button. The power button just puts it in sleep mode. So the only option I'm left with is a hard reboot. And the reboot causes it to go through an update setup process when it comes back on. Like there's an unfinished update that only comes to the surface when I restart. Any suggestions?

Can this laptop run some certain games?

I'm thinking of buying a Lenovo G510 laptop, but I'm not really sure about its specs, which are:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4200M 2.5 GHz (Dual Core)
RAM: 4 GB - DDR3 SDRAM - 1600 MHz
HDD: 1TB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8750M

I want to know a bit about the performance I'd get when playing those games:

-Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
-Battlefield 3
-Watch Dogs
-Battlefield 4

At what settings can I run those games with over 30fps?

Win 8.1 Secondary Display saying Input Not supported?

I have a Lenovo Z580 laptop running Win 8.1. I have an old 14 or 15 inch acer monitor that I usually plug into my computer using a VGA cable. It is usually fine, resolution wise and everything. Last night, I tried connecting my computer to our 42 inch TV using a VGA cable, and it started out working fine. Then I tried to choose to only display to the TV, and that's when both screens just showed up black. I tried rebooting etc etc. And eventually gave up. Today though, when I connect to my regular monitor, it gives me a "resolution not supported" error and still doesn't display to either screen. For some reason I think it's stuck on displaying only to the secondary monitor but it can't because of resolution issues. I tried changing the resolution of my laptop to one supported by my monitor but that didn't help. I can't change any settings when I don't see the screen, so does anyone know how to fix this?

Should I Dual Boot windows 8.1 & windows 7? - 1

I have lenovo G570 with original windows 7 home basics with i3 processor,3gb ram and a 500gb hard disk. I don't want to delete windows 7 but wants to install windows 8.1(pirated).so i'm thinking to install windows 8.1 too on a hard drive. I just wanna ask that will windows 8.1 work perfect with windows 7 home basic on my laptop and should i install 2 windows on my laptop.
Actually i'm fed of windows 7 home basic because of its permanent task bar color and i don't want to make any change in windows files or i don't want to remove windows 7 home basic because it is an original edition of windows.Actually i have windows 8.1 on my another PC with a p4 processor & because of its low configuration windows 8.1 runs slow on that PC. I also like windows 8.1 than windows 7. I Think windows 8.1 is different. Its start up is also very fast.it runs twice the speed of windows 7 and windows 8.1 have more features. I want to install windows 8.1 but don't want to delete windows 7.

Wi-Fi on Windows 8.1 laptop?

Hi, I'm having problems with my Wi-Fi on my Lenovo Y410p laptop running Windows 8.1. It works perfectly fine on any network I've tried, except for the wireless network at my school (where I live). I have updated all of my drivers (including wireless card), scanned for malware/spyware, resetting wireless card, forgetting and reconnecting to network, deleting cache/cookies in browser, everything. For instance, I can't even stream a YouTube video at 240p without it stopping to buffer every 10 seconds or so. Now, before you say it's the wireless connections being crowded, both my iPhone 5 and my iPad 2 can stream YouTube videos at 720p without stopping once. Again, my laptop can do the same on any other network, except this one. I would use the ethernet but the wall jack is dead and I'm waiting on that to be fixed.

Does anyone have any ideas? I just don't understand why both of my other devices can connect without a single problem, yet my laptop can't, despite it working fine on other networks like Starbucks or my parents house. The Wi-Fi here should be fine, my roommate is able to stream videos and I can on anything but this laptop. Any suggestions? I've even tried putting both my iPad and iPhone on airplane mode to see if there was interference, but to no avail.
