Laptop/hybrid/convertible for me?

With christmas coming up, I'm making up my mind on what laptop/convertible/hybrid I want. I would want something portable (that's why I'm saying a laptop/convertible/hybrid) about "11.6-13.3". I want something with a good screen, has a touch screen. Its running full windows, I don't want it to be like a surface rt that's running a custom windows rt that limits the things you can do. I want something that has a really good processor. I'm not a computer games and would be using it for media consumption like some apps and little games, surfing the web, probobly use some software(not too extensive though), school work. I probobly wouldn't need really amazing speakers as I would use headphones most of the time. Also, woudl like something not too pricy like around $800 at the max. Some ones that I've been looking at are the lenovo yogapad 2/2pro(quite expensive) or the HP pavilion x360(more realistic), and I'm not sure if all the surfaces are running Windows rt but if they are then they definitely look good and also those transformer pads look good. I'd want something that has good battery life.

All USB ports in my laptop suddenly stopped working?

I have a Lenovo Y510P and yesterday morning all of the ports stopped working randomly. I knew this because my mouse stopped working. The weird thing is, my mouse has lights and it still glows blue, even though the red sensor light at the bottom isn't on. So the USB ports are still giving off power. Also, I tried a USB flash drive and external hard drive and both are not recognized. I've done several things to try to fix this, even contacting the technician from Lenovo and we found this: which refuses to do anything or go away. He said that I should do a factory reset, but since my files are still on my computer and I can't back them up (no usb) I don't want to do this. This is also not a hardware issue. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do or how to fix this?

Laptop only works when plugged in?

I got a LENOVO 0679 and it says it's charge is 99% but only works if plugged in. If I unplug it, it shuts off. Any ideas?

Will this laptop run the Sims 3 or 4?

Please could someone click on the below link and have a look at that laptop, will it run sims 3 or 4 well?
Also it does not have a disc drive, but i can install it can't i?

Should I Dual Boot windows 8.1 & windows 7?

I have lenovo G570 with original windows 7 home basics with i3 processor,3gb ram and a 500gb hard disk. I don't want to delete windows 7 but wants to install windows 8.1(pirated).so i'm thinking to install windows 8.1 too on a hard drive. I just wanna ask that will windows 8.1 work perfect with windows 7 home basic on my laptop and should i install 2 windows on my laptop.

Is the gopro studio app intense on a computer?

I'm getting a gopro hero 3+ silver for Christmas and I need a laptop to go with it for about £300-£350 I was thinking the lenovo et2020 just wondering if it'd lag on that or a laptop with i5 4gb ram and a tb harddrive
