Please, I'd like to know if the boot menu on a Lenovo G50-30 laptop includes an option to boot from any USB unit (flash drive, external DVD reader, external HD, you name it).
Also, how do you access the boot menu on this specific laptop?
See, I'm interested in buying a G50-30 Lenovo lap, but the problem is that this particular machine doesn't include a DVD-ROM unit (optical drive). So If I have any problems and need to reinstall Windows, I'll need to do it from an USB unit.
I bought a new Lenovo G510 laptop two weeks ago. I've been keeping it blugged to the charger all the time. Today I noticed my batery to be stuck at 93% as time passed it dropped to 91%. When I start the laptop up it starts charging for about 10 seconds and then it stops even though it says it's charging. What can I do?

I need to buy a new laptop and I have no idea where to start. I want a Windows (8.1 probably) that is light enough to carry around university campus all day and has a long battery life to match. Otherwise, the specs don't really matter. I game a bit on Steam and use Chrome, social media, and tonnes of docs/pics/pdfs/music files but not actual hardcore software. I'm also kind of very much broke so the cheaper, the better.
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad U530. It has a 15.6" display. I was checking out iruler.net, and the website believes that my display is 22.9." http://www.infobyip.com/detectdisplaysize.php does the same thing.
How can I fix this? Is it a problem with my browser, or with my computer?

Added (1). Update: Using Chrome, it is detected as 22.9." Using IE, it is detected as 18.4." *confusion intensifies*

I'm thinking of trying skype on my wife's Nokia Lumia 925, but their page isn't clear to me. Can anyone clarify this?
