How to overclock a Lenovo Z50 laptop?

When looking at the PC Info, it says that my laptop has an i7 processor at 1.8GHz, but it also states 2.40GHZ shortly after, so I can only assume it can be overclocked to reach that value. Does anyone know how to do this? I've tried shutting it down completely (shift + shut down) and then turning it on, but no F12 prompt appears and the laptop doesn't respond to my F1, F2, F10, F11 or F12 inputs. How can I access the BIOS and overclock it?

How to fix my computer so that I can connect to the Internet?

I'm a college student using my dorms Wi-Fi. Recently, whenever I try to use the Internet on my Lenovo laptop (windows 8.1) the message "DNS Lookup failed. No such host is known" appears. My roommate has not had these problems and I can connect to the Internet on my iPhone. I've had this issue on both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. I have tried disabling the proxy and resetting the DNS but neither has worked.

Which one is a better gaming laptop?

I was planning to buy a new laptop mainly for gaming and entertainment and some project work but my main concern is gaming. I have been searching the net for around a month and finally came across 2 laptops which suited my budget. My budget was 47k-55k INR. The 2 laptops are:
1. HP Pavilion 15 P045TX: core i7 4510U 2.0ghz upto 3.1 ghz by turbo boost, 8gb ddr3 ram, 1tb hard disk and 2gb Nvidia 840m ddr3
2.Lenovo z500: core i5 3230m 2.6 ghz upto 3.2ghz by turbo boost, 6gb ram ddr3, 1tb hard disk and 2gb Nvidia 740m ddr3

The first laptop is of 55k and the second one of 48k. I wanted to play high end games like Far cry 4, Battlefield 4, NFS rivals, GTA 5 at a decent fps. So which would be a better laptop for gaming at 1366-768 resolution. And if you have another laptop with better specs for gaming, please do suggest me. It should be in my budget i.e. 47k-55k INR. I only have a week left. Please reply As soon as possible.

My Lenovo laptop not turning on no power?

Hi, 2 weeks ago I tried to turn on my Lenovo v570c laptop. But it wasn't turning on. No led light no screen light nothing. I tried to reset hardware by pressing power button times. But nothing works fine. After that I shut down the laptop and put the battery and kept for charging. Then I tried to turn on laptop but now it isn't turning on. The same old problem no power no led light no charging light nothing. What should I do? Can you help me to fix this?

Best laptop to play games under $1000?

It doesn't have to be high end but at least good enough for games to run smooth and look good. I want one that will last and still be current for a few years. I can go a little higher then $1000 but prefer to go lower.

Lenovo laptop keeps dropping Wi-Fi connection?

About three days ago our Lenovo laptop decided it hates the internet. Or, in more specific terms, it keeps dropping the Wi-Fi connection. When you check the Wi-Fi it will show that it can't find any connections. Selecting 'Troubleshoot' fixes it by re-starting the wireless adaptor. It will then show all the Wi-Fi connections available. Selecting our Wi-Fi causes the computer to try to connect - but it fails. Again, selecting 'Troubleshoot' restarts the wireless adaptor and the computer connects - only to drop the Wi-Fi again anywhere from 3 minutes to about an hour later. Sometimes it skips the step of not seeing any Wi-Fi connections.
I have no idea what to do. Our other computers are not experiancing this problem. The anti-virus doesn't find anything - although I know that's not 100% guarentee.

Any suggestions?
