Can't get the sound from my computer to come through on the TV?

I can never seem the sound to go out from my lenovo thinkpad yoga through the onelink dock out of my tv. I'm using a display to hdmi cord to connect the dock to my TV. It has worked once before. I went in to sound settings on the dock and selected hdmi device as the speakers but now that doesn't show up as a option. Also when the dock is plugged in the computer keeps making the sound that plays when something is ejected from the computer but it doesn't show anything as being ejected. I can't use the hdmi port on the computer because it doesn't carry audio so that's why i got the dock.

What's a good used laptop model?

It would be used mostly for youtube, netflix, and occasional games. I would like to keep the price around $120. How fast of a processor do I really need? How much ram? What are some good makes/models? Also, I've heard that dells are pretty bad, is this true?

Lenovo laptop, the keyboard?

I have a lenovo laptop and the keyboard doesn't work. I searched up and found out the Fn+NumLock is to fix it and it did. Although I shut it off for an hour and it doesn't work again. I tried doing what I did last time but it isn't working.

Which laptop brand is preferable?

I'm very confused to buy a laptop for my personal use.
When I choose Dell, there's no HDMI port; some of my friends asked to avoid Sony and HP, some of them does not prefer Lenovo also. So, I'm totally confused to buy my laptop with 14"/15.6" true HD screen, Intel 4th generation i3/i5 processor, minimum 500 GB hard disc, 4GB RAM, 1GB/2GB grafix card and modern connectivity.
Please help me, as my budget can't exceed 30,000-35,000 INR.

Third one has more ram but its comes with dos compare to the second one it has half of the ram but comes with windows and with diffrent graphics
