Are there any laptops like the Lenovo Y50?

I'm looking for a laptop that is as powerful and as cheap as the Y50. You can buy the Y50 at

https://www.newegg.com/...8328089803

for $889. Size does not matter much to me as I won't be moving it around everywhere (but I would like to be able to take it with me sometimes). The specs I would want are:

- i5 (preferably 3570k but not required)
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 860m (840m is okay, too, but I prefer 860m or 870m)
- 1 TB hdd (ssds are okay too)
- 8 GB RAM (minimum)
- 1920x1080p screen (IPS preferred but not required)
- Windows 8.1
- 15.6" screen (any other size is fine but I prefer 15.6")

Optional but preferred:
- VGA port
- Separate headphone/mic jacks
- Customizable backlit keyboard (single color is fine too)
- Optical Drive (not very important)
- Bluetooth (4.0)

Any weight is fine, I don't mind carrying around a behemoth as long as it's under $1000. Are there any other computers like this for as cheap, or should I stick with the Y50? Thanks!

(I also looked at the MSI GS60 Leopard-10 which doesn't look too bad, but it's not quite as powerful as I want it to be.)

Added (1). I'd also like the keyboard to be chiclet style.

Computer freezes after system restore?

I start college in a few days and my computer was very cluttered with unused programs and files, so I decided to reset it to factory settings to erase everything and start over. After doing this, I downloaded all the important windows updates redownloaded frequently used programs like iTunes, Skype, flux, Gyazo, and security programs such as avast and malwarebytes. Now my computer inevitably freezes after 10-30 minutes of use, no matter what program is open. I'm still able to move my mouse but I'm unable to click anything. The keyboard is still responsive, but I can't alt+tab or ctrl+alt+delete. I never had a problem before the reset, so why now? How can I fix this?

What's a good Laptop that performs like a MacBook Air?

Basically, I'm looking for a Laptop, I've gone through a hell of a lot websites and reviews but there are so many brands! One website favors one brand and the other one another one. I'm basically lost.

Apple seems to be best followed by Lenovo.

I want a Laptop that
- Goes fast
- the text is still visible when the sun shines on the screen
- has a super long battery life, 9 hours at least
- doesn't heat up too fast
- is reliable, like it will last for at least 5 years and good
- doesn't weigh much
- has a nice design and very portable
- doesn't cost a fortune

I have to use it for work, I will be taking it every day, the whole day with me and I will mainly write on it and go on websites on it. I like Apple because it has a lot of extras, but if there's a Laptop that is of better quality, I will def buy the other one.

Lenovo laptop can't connect to Wi-Fi networks?

I have had this lenovo for about 2 years and have never had a problem in the past. All of a sudden today it began not connecting to networks that it had been connected to for months and used even this morning flawlessly. It can detect every Wi-Fi network in the area but it gives me an error message and says can't connect to network. I know that the router is sound because I have 13 other devices that have zero problems.

Computer detects TV but TV displays no signal?

I have a Lenovo b470e (Windows 7) laptop computer with a Intel Family Graphics HD card, and an Toshiba 32C110U 32" LCD HDTV. I have a HDMI male-male cable connected to my TV and laptop, the laptop detects the TV as TOSHIBA DISPLAY in the Graphics control panel, I can change settings for "resolution" and "TV Standard", and have changed numerous settings with no luck. The TV simply says "No Signal". I have restarted the computer and TV, I have even updated the graphics card software which slightly helped my problem from earlier (computer would not even detect the TV at all). Also, the VGA cable works and displays fine, but the cable is way too short and I would like to use the HDMI cable as it longer and should be able to have audio. Any way to fix this?

Correct way to use my new laptop - on battery or on charge?

I have recently purchased a Lenovo laptop for work. It runs around 1.5 hrs without charging. Please suggest the correct way to use the laptop so that it lasts for years. Should I keep it charging all the time I work, or let the battery drain to around 30%, then charge again?
I have read people suggest 'Every time you charge your battery, the total capacity of the battery is diminished' - is that true?

Please help me. This is the first time I'm using a laptop.

Laptop won't wake up unless I push the power button?

I've had my Lenovo Z510 for about four months now. When I had Windows 7 on it I didn't have any problems. I decided to upgrade to Windows 8.1 today and since then, whenever I close the lid on my laptop and open it again, the laptop won't open unless I push the power button.

Any help is appreciated.

Added (1). I meant that it won't turn on when I open the lid.
