I have a Lenovo thinkpad and I can't get some of the keys working. I've tried going through ease of access and a few other keyboard settings and haven't found the solution. Backspace capslock t and y won't work. Someone please help meh
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad L420. I accidentally pressed Fn and F12 together and apparently that's hibernation mode. When I turn my laptop back on, it gets to the Control Alt Delete Screen and immediately the screen goes black, and in a few seconds the laptop turns back off. It is charged.

I'm looking too buy an intermediate gaming computer that i can also use for school and work. My budget is around $1200, but of course less is always a plus. Right now i'm looking at the below links it would be best i know for a 17 inch screen but the computers i see will just break the bank. I'm not that computer savvy but have a general idea. I have an macbook pro and I'm running mavericks with kaspersky internet security as my antivirus. I have a suspicion that a website that I have ordered from before has putted tracking cookies on my computer. This item that I'm thinking of buying keeps on showing up limited quantity every time when I click on it. I pulled up the same webpage of the seller on my lenovo windows 7 laptop and it doesn't show limited quantity on that item. Do you think they have putted tracking cookies on my computer? Does kaspersky remove tracking cookies?
I purchased this laptop two years ago and it currently has the A6-4400m but I would like to upgrade it to the A10-5750m. The FRU part list states I can upgrade it to the A10-4600m but not the later one. Would anyone here be able to state that I could or could not do this?
Added (1). To be clear I don't know if the part list is older than the A10-5750m and has not been updated to include the newer processor or not.
I have a Lenovo ideapad s400 touch, and today I came across a virus that has infected Google Chrome. I have searched on how to uninstall WSE Rocket from my device, but every time I click 'Uninstall' it says
You do not have sufficient access to uninstall WSE Rocket

I'm gonna start college in the fall undecided. I'm thinking of going into engineering later (compsci or mechanical), so the courses I'll take freshman year will be engineering courses. I'm thinking of the lenovo ThinkPad yoga or the lenovo yoga 2 pro? But I'll also be bringing an HP desktop so could I get a macbook pro? I want to make videos and use creative programs like Photoshop and music making programs during my free time. Would it be that much of a hassle to use a macbook pro in my engineering classes? Price isn't really a factor. What should I do? Then again there's still a low chance that I may do something else with my major like geosciences or astronomy. Would a lenovo be excessive for those or good too?
