Basically I'm going to sell my macbook pro because they don't really change many games to mac they usually just do pc.
Basically what type of laptop would be good for gaming? Games such as Sims 4 thats coming out in a few months and call of duty, gta 5, but mainly for Sims 4.
I don't care if it's from the £200-400 mark. I just want a laptop that will run a game properly and not really lag.
I bought a lenovo laptop (ideapad y510p) about 1 month ago. It works great in all ways exept that it keeps overheating and crashing (bsod). When i bought the computer the salesman said that it had an external computerfan on the rightside (looks identical to the left one) that could be switched out at anytime to a dvd player or anything like that. But the right computer fan dosen't seem to work and never has and i don't know if it's broken when perchased or if it has to be activated or something. Anyways my new laptop now crashes a few times per day just showing me bsod and is burning hot. Does anyone know anything about this problem? Is there a way to cool down my computer or something like that? I'm afraid the computer will get dameged if this problem isn't fixed soon.
I hope that someone can provide some assistance for me please?
I turned on my laptop about 3 days ago, when I boot up I receive a blue error screen saying that:
"Your PC ran into some and need to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and the we'll restart for you"
and after 2 sec screen turns off and starts saying "preparing automatic repair" then again restarts and displays the above message This process is continuously happening and laptop is not boot normally. Even when I power up using the Novo button, I get the 4 options or Normal startup, Bios, Boot Menu and System Recovery but each option brings me back to the above error screen.
-Whatever option I select I just get brought back to the above error message. -
I don't have any disc or media as nothing came with the laptop, all OEM, and I have no idea what to do?
Is it good for modded minecraft.i've seen it playing BF4 on medium settings but I'm unsure of what it takes to play Minecraft.it is probably only going to be used for Minecraft, office documents, and web browsing. I don't need anything fancy like Alienware. I don't need it be able to max out all the settings I'm ok with low/medium settings. Don't recommend a $1000 laptop because I'm not buying it I'm only twelve I don't have that much money! I have $700 but I'm saving up for the xbox one so I can talk to my friends, but I'll probably end up borrowing like $200 from my parents.lol. But if you have a better one for around the same price please tell me. Thank you! Ps. Its $569.99 but it's on sale for $459.99.
I will have the laptop mentioned above in a few days but on many forums i read that it can't run latest games inspite of its great specs or it gets hot like an oven even that it can't run gta 3. If its true then please suggest the best hardcore gaming laptop which can run latest games under 50k inr(indian rupees).

I like lenovos yoga. It's perfect for me. Except it doesn't have a dvd drive. I wanna be able to burn stuff onto cds. Onto verbatim (I think they're called) discs. Is there anyway around this? I was thinking whether there's hardware for a separate drive. But if the laptop doesn't come with it… Then don't know how it will burn onto it. The burning is just extra. To be honest. I just need one to discs in. Cause I'll install stuff and be using cds.
I have Lenovo K900 and I have no more warranty. Yesterday my battery empty and I didn't charge it straight away. When I reached home, I tried to plug in the charger but the phone won't turn on and I already tried to connect it to my laptop and PC but still there's nothing happen. Please help me. Is there anything I can do or try before I send it to the CS?
Is the Lenovo Z series (Z40-Z710) of laptops good for gaming?
I can run games like the hunter, skyrim and fallout on high and ultra settings even with mods i also can run optimized MMOs with no problems, but games like planetside look like a slideshow. So i was wondering before i coughed up the 20 bucks for battlefield if i could run it. I run about 12mbs average.
