Where to find a new battery for my laptop?

Recently I purchased a Lenovo z510 gaming laptop and now the battery is corrupt. It says it is 100 percent but it will automatically shut off without the charger. Where is a link to find a new battery because I can't find one?

Static noise coming from headphones when I listen to music, think it may be notebook's fault?

About two weeks ago I bought a brand new ACER Aspire E1-570G and I've had no major problems with it (aside from a few freezes the first days but now it's smooth as butter). My only problem is that yesterday I've noticed a static sound that can be heard over the music when I have my headphones on (it crackles in rhythm with the music). It's pretty loud, to the point it actually distracts me from the actual music. I listen to a lot of EDM, Trance in particular and the static noise can be heard during the parts of the song wherein the lower frequencies are more intense ( For example: I hear it on this song, from 2:48 onwards

). At first I thought it could be a problem of the headphones ( I own a BOSE AE2) but then I ran several "tests": I used the headphones on my mom's laptop, a Lenovo, and I listened to the same songs; no static noise. Same went when I had a go with my iPod: no static sound, the audio was smooth. Just to make sure for good it was my notebook at fault, I changed headphones and this time I used a pair of Sennheisers; the static could be heard crystal clear.

I took the advice I read on some forums; I unplugged my charger, my cooling pad, my mouse, basically everything except my headphones and I even cleaned my jack; still nothing, the static sound could be heard loud and clear.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem without having to send it to a repair center?

New Laptop constantly restarting?

My laptop seemingly just restarts randomly there are no error messages. It just restarts. I reset the OS and no changes. The laptop is a New Lenovo y510p and I don't think it is heat because it doesn't feel like that hot.

Looking for a new computer?

Ok I just looked on Amazon and I see they have really good discounts at the moment.

My old laptop is getting pretty bad, battery and overheating/crashing, so i really need a new computer.

So My budget is up to $500

1.) I would like a good computer for college, that can stream HD video at the least

2.) I do like games but i don't need the best and would really not want to spend a ton

3.) The games I play now are League of Legends, but what i really want is a laptop that can handle Civilization V. It would be nice if i can use Fraps too.

4.) I have looked on steam and apparently i need at least an i5 quad core main processor, 4 GB of RAM at least, and that a Intel HD Graphics card is fine but that a good ATI/AMD or NVIDIA card is better. I have no idea what a DX10 or DX11 is but apparently the graphics card needs to handle it.

Ok let me list the laptop models i have found on Amazon: my criteria was the intel i5 quad core

Lenovo IdeaPad 15.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop, Black (59406579)

Dell Inspiron 15.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop (i15RVT-13333BLK)

HP 2000-2d89nr 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black Licorice)

Acer Aspire E1-572-6870 15.6 Inch Laptop Intel i5 4200U 1.6GHz Processor, 4GB Ram, 500GB Hard Drive, Windows 8… By Acer

Does Lenovo make good laptops?

I need to replace my desktop computer because it's been overheating for months now, making the whole room warmer, and it's summer… And it's pissing me off. I found a really nice laptop for $429 but I'm really cheap and don't want to end up with a crap computer again.

This is what I'm looking at
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8584956

If you can think of anything similar to it, I'm open to suggestions.

The only "gaming" I do is using a DS emulator, but that's always when it starts overheating. So that's why I wanted one with more memory and a faster processor…

Lenovo y510p Removable Graphics card disapearance?

I recently (tehnically in June of this year) bought the Lenovo y510p Model: 59405668 with the integrated 755m graphics only from the lenovo website. In the same order I bought the removable graphics card for sli for $100 as an accessory. Well the whole order got canceled several times so I quit on them. Then a week or so ago they ran the order again and the laptop has been shipped. From the time I placed the order to the time the laptop was shipped the removable graphics card accessory has completely vanished from everywhere. I can't find it anywhere. The Lenovo website has no information about it. It may be a little too soon to ask this question considering the laptop and everything gets here on the 14th of July but I specifically bought the laptop for the sli and I'm worried that I may not receive it because it is none existing now. I'm not counting the model from best buy and newegg with the sli preconfigured. Does anyone know if it is shipped with the laptop or as a separate shipment? If I do not receive the removable graphics card with the laptop is there somewhere i can buy the 755m graphics card for the laptop? Thank you in advance for reading this long statment/question and for any help you contribute.

Is the lenovo ideapad g505s good for moderate gaming?

I'm wondering if this laptop is good for gaming. I've seen videos of it running bf4 on medium settings but is it good for modded minecraft? I also might play more recent games like The Forest and stuff. I don't mind lowering the quality.im also a spiderman fan so will it handle spiderman web of shadows, shattered dimensions and spiderman 3. I won't be playing any recent ones cuz I have a xbox one thank you. If this is too much then recommend another laptop.budget is under 500 but will go to 600 if necessary.

Something is wrong with your soundcard?

I have this Lenovo Ideapad bought very recently. It has worked perfectly well right until today. I was forced to install security updates, which i did. Afterwards i have no sound, Spotify states that something is wrong with my sound card. I've looked through a guide on the Microsoft website asking to look in Device management (Not sure this is the correct translation). Anyway it lists the following devices:

Conexant SmartAudio HD
Intel sound for screen

Both are working correctly according to my computer. Does anyone know what to do?

Can I at least run skyrim? Is my new computer decent enough?

Long story short I impulsed bought a laptop. Well not impulsed, but didn't really give much thought on whether I'd be able to run Skyrim or not. Anyway should I at least be able to run skyrim? My specs are:

Computer: Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14
CPU Speed: 2.2GHz
CPU Type: AMD, Athlon X2
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 250GB

So can I at least play skyrim? I don't expect it to run on high end graphics.
