Which Laptop CPU would be more powerful?

A 2nd Gen Intel i7-2640M running at 2.8 Ghz or a 5th Gen Intel i3-5010U running at 2.1 Ghz.

Both are dual core processors used in Lenovo Thinkpads.

Added (1). I intend to use the laptop for very light gaming (Hearthstone and Diablo), schoolwork (90% coursework is online), videos/movies, and music. My work requires me to travel a good bit to rural areas where Wi-Fi is sparse. In seeing this, the disk drive on the ASUS adds a bit of extra appeal. What do you think would be the best bang for the buck? Another distant option would be a Microsoft Surface (if it wasn't too huge of a price jump).

How to Transfer Adobe CS5.5 from Old PC to New?

I received Adobe CS5.5 as a gift in late 2012 while I was in college. I no longer have the disc, and I do not have an Adobe ID account.

I do have my full serial number, but Adobe phone support was unable to help me even with that because I have never had an Adobe ID. Unfortunately I can no longer get in touch with the person who bought me the gift originally.

What is the correct way to work around this? All of the Adobe programs work great on my old Windows 7 laptop, but I need to transfer the software to my new Windows 10 Lenovo.

Hi, so I've got a Lenovo B50 Laptop with Windows 10.
Specs are as follows (not sure if this is important but anyway):
8GB RAM
2GB AMD Radeon GPU
i7 CPU @2.0GHZ
500GB Storage

The issue is only with my ethernet cable, because connecting to the same network on the same computer works fine, but as soon as I plug the ethernet cable in it gets stuffed up and has a little yellow caution sign next to it and no internet connection. This has only been happening recently, and I've made no major adjustments to my network setup or anything like that. I do however have a google DNS on my ipv4 and ipv6 configurations.

Things I've tried:

- Changing the DNS server to google dns
- Clicking the "obtain DNS server address automatically" checkbox on internet properties
- Entering "ipconfig /flushdns" on cmd.

Sometimes after a restart it works normally but others it doesn't even after a restart, it's a bit of an on/off thing really. If you need any additional info I'd be happy to give it to you but I'm not really good with computers so please keep the instructions simple!

And yes, Wi-Fi works completely fine. When I click the little Wi-Fi icon that shows all other connections, my ethernet one is at the top and says "No Internet".

Trying to set up third display on HP Lenovo Thinkpad E531 Edge?

I'm trying to set up my third monitor (laptop screen and two Dell monitors.) I really don't need the laptop screen I'm just using it as my "computer" so that I don't have to go out and buy a whole new computer tower. Obviously my knowledge of computers is less than nothing so I'm looking for help as to why my third monitor is being detected in the settings display menu but I can't get it to activate. It just stays greyed out and nothing I do will change that. As far is the setup of my connections goes on my laptop I have one VGA outlet that I'm using with the one monitor that is working and I'm also using a HDMI to VGA converter for the other (the monitor that is not working.) When I unplug the monitor from the VGA outlet the one that is connected via the HDMI converter pops on which leads me to believe that maybe my graphics card can't support 3 monitors. The graphics card is the following:

Lenovo Active Pen 2 not responding?

So I recently got a Lenovo active pen 2, and it worked for the first day. The second day it periodically would stop working, and now on the third day it won't respond at all. I've tried restarting my laptop, which worked on the second day, but now even that won't help.
