Lenovo y40 or MacBook Pro 15.6 retina?
I kinda choosing between those two laptops, but I can't choose!
I love the MacBook Pro, cause it can be used to exactly what I want to use it for, I heard it's very easy to use, but the problem is just that I want to upgrade the graphics card, cause intel iris isn't the best, but upgrading cost like 600 bucks more! And then it goes up to 2600 USD, and that's a lot of money and I don't know if it's worth it…
Lenovo y40 is smaller; a tiny bit heavier if I'm right, but the tech specs are pretty amazing. And it cost 1000 dollars less than the Mac with the highest upgrades the y40 can have.
But I just have a slight problem with windows pcs.
1st: I've heard while Mac tries to make their products the best in one go. Windows laptops isn't perfect (that's why all those updatings and so on), so they will turn old in a couple of years, while Mac you can use pretty much almost half your life… Sorta.
2nd: I live in Denmark, and we have some letters, which we use a lot, but the American keyboard doesn't have those. It's really easy to adjust the keyboard to your liking on the Mac, but on windows it's a little bit more complicated…
3rd: It's hard to repair a windows pc in Denmark after my own experience, and I'm afraid that it will break after a couple if years, and I can't afford to buy a new one every third year!
So what do you think? Use 400-1000 $ more on a MacBook Pro or the Lenovo y40 with the good specs but still has a lot of downsides?
Added (1). Forgot to tell what I'll use it for. Gaming, photo/video/music editing, digital art, school work, surfing on the web and I guess watching movies and listening to music.
