Brand new Lenovo ideapad 110-15isk 80UD Windows 10 is running slow?

My husband and I picked out a laptop for my father for his birthday a month ago. It has 6 gbs for RAM And I think 700 gbs or 1 tbs of storage. Come to find out it has always ran slow. Slower than my 8 year old pink laptop he had been using. It is almost completely clean.

Added (1). No pictures, files, programs, or videos are on it yet. Just the WebRoot virus protection the Geek Squad installed (and there's no viruses). Disk drive is at 99%. Can someone tell by pictures from the task manager what could be the problem? Startup has few items to."

Added (2). I think that an update (Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4015217.Is the problem. The "cumulative updates" have been failing since he got the laptop if you look at the history. A quick google of it shows that is common problem to:/ I'm not sure how to get the update to go through though Brand new Lenovo ideapad 110-15isk 80UD Windows 10 is running slow

Meeting minimum requirements yet never hitting a constant 60/frame dips. Why?

Hi. So I own a Lenovo Y40-80, and honestly, the specs look fine. An i7 5500U, 8 gigs of RAM, 1TB of HDD and 30 Gigs of SSD and an AMD r9 M275X. It has a 1080p monitor as well, and on paper it's a decent laptop.

However, every game I play, even the ones that meet the maximum requirements experience either just bad frame rate or constant annoying dips from the 60-70s to the 15s. I seriously have no idea why. GTA V, a game that I have seen people run 60FPS on this laptop on medium-high settings, simply refuses to get past the first frame. And I mean that literally.

I recently downloaded Splinter Cell Blacklist, and that game is what really made me ask this question. From like 70FPS to 5. And it's like for 2 minutes its 70, fopr 2 it's 5. And same goes for CS: GO. Can someone tell me why?

Laptop internet not working?

At first, it said my network adapter wasn't working, then the next day, it was fine. But now my wireless capability is turned off and no function key can turn it back on. I've pressed the Fn function button with the one that has the Wi-Fi symbol, i've restarted and scoured that device manager page in the control panel, but nothing is working. What do i do?

My computer search doesn't match my type speed, what do I do?

I have a Lenovo G51 with a A8 AMD processor. Got the thing for Christmas in 2015 (?) and since getting it out of the box it didn't match my typing speed. What I mean is, if I'm on Firefox or Googling something, it won't catch the spaces between the words and I have to type like a turtle in order toget what I want.

Example: thequi ck brown fox jumpedov er thel azy dog.

Now I'm a fast typer when I get in the zone, even if I'm on Google Doc it will do the same thing. If I was typing this on the laptop it would do it, same in any search engine. I don't know if it's a setting that I need to change or what, but seriously it's annoying and I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what's going on.
