I inserted a CD into my lenovo laptop.Nothing changed on my screen. Now what?
I'm about to make a professional movie soon but I can't decide what laptop I should get, I narrowed it down to two laptops. Here they are.

I downloaded this Lenovo driver: http://support.lenovo.com/...s/ds037619 because someone said it is universal.
Then I uninstalled it and I get this message every time my laptop powers on:

Laptop runs really slow. Never really liked this thing. Only use it for school and work. Restored it and reinstalled windows but still slow as s***. It still works but it's extremely laggy and can't get anything done. Any idea of what else it could be and how this had happened? I had webroot installed when I first purchased the computer.
I have just purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 110. Where is the button on the bottom right hand side for me to press if I want a capital letter? - 1
A customer brought in the their Lenovo Thinkpad 450s because their screen was failing.
They already had purchased a new screen and gave me the e-mail confirmation from the order that showed that it was the correct screen that they needed.
However, the new display is still black.
When I hook up an external monitor, nothing but a mouse pointer shows.
But I can connect to the external monitor if I power on the laptop and then immediately close the lid.
The external display then shows the desktop.
But then I lift the laptop lid, the laptop screen is still black. Even when I change the display settings to extend the desktop.
Any thoughts?
Added (1). There was one brief occurrence with the new screen, where I saw a very faint lenovo logo appear when the splash screen loaded. But then it went completely black again. And has not done even the faint image since, it was just a fluke occurrence.
And when I shine a flashlight, I still see no display.
Added (2). While the external monitor is displaying the desktop and I then reopen the laptop lid, the laptop screen is recognized as being there. ( Display settings, shows monitor 1 and 2 ).
But the laptop screen is still black.
I have lenovo ideapad 110 and i want to boot in bios to enabele vt-x. But when i turn on my laptop there's lenovo logo and NO press key to boot in bios or something. Also it is booting so fast, only 5 seconds and there's no windows logo when booting.

When I hook up the new screen, there's no display at all.
And so I connected an external monitor through the VGA Port ( To boot the system into safemode to try to reinstall the display driver ), however the external monitor only displays a black screen and the mouse cursor and nothing more.
Any thoughts on the issue?
The fn+f7 combo is supposed to switch your display to external, but without being able to access the desktop due to the laptop screen display issue, it won't allow me to switch.
So far, I've been told ASUS, Dell, and Lenovo.
The only brand I've ever used are HP but I've recently been told by someone who works with computer that those are not too good.
If you use windows or know about them, which would you recommend or find have works best?
