On my hp 15 laptop i have almost 500 gigs but its only 380 something left over the last couple of days i notice i have been slowly losing 1 gig at a time like yesterday it 386 today its 385. I do not download really much so I'm wondering where is my space going to. Has anyone been having this too?

It says its for 15.4 inch laptops. So how big is the difference between 15.4" and 15.6" laptop, would it work with mine?
When I try to start it up it goes to it's normal First thing [which is just the page with just it's name and the interrupt the start-up] and then it goes to a black screen with a white underscore which just keeps blinking, we tried leaving it on all night, that didn't work, then we tried repeatedly pressing enter, then the space button, what should we do?
Added (1). And I should add I tried to do a system restart before this problem, when my computer said I had a Trojan virus.
When i plug in my earphone into my Lenovo laptop, Windows 10 only recognized it as microphone and not earphone and my computer become silence.
I know I can reset my laptop to factory settings but doing that would just keep all those preinstalled softwares that came with the laptop when I first bought it. I should mention that I don't have the cd to do a reinstallation through my dvd drive. Note, in case I not being clear, I'm not moving to another version of windows. I just want to do a clean reinstall without any of those preinstalled softwares from lenovo. So what are my options, and if you could, please include all the necessary steps or maybe a link to a tutorial? Please don't comment by saying that it's much easier to uninstall those preinstalled softwares instead of doing a clean reinstall. I would very much rather perform a clean reinstall.
A while back, my hard drive crashed. I used to have a Lenovo think pad running vista. I put in a different hard drive and am now running a bootleg copy of windows 7. My graphics card doesn't function properly now. When I go to install a simple game or something, it fails because it can't detect a graphics driver. I've tried numerous times to install different graphics drivers, but none of them work. The system can't even detect what graphics card I have. It shows up as unknown. My computer is also stuck at a low resolution, and can't output through an hdmi cable anymore. Will installing an authentic copy of windows 7 fix this issue, or no? Is there anything I can do to regain full functionality of my graphics card, or is the computer screwed because of the mismatched hard drive?
Ok so i'm trying to install windows 7 again after having ubuntu on my Lenovo Thinkpad T520 and it's giving me a problem. When i boot the Windows installation, after clicking on install now, a "Select the driver to be installed" Page comes up and it mentions something about a CD/DVD driver, even though i'm installing windows from a pen drive. How can i get it to work?
P.S.: The Hard drive is completely clean(no partitions and nothing on it) and i'm pretty sure i'm installing from a 2.0 usb port(my laptop doesn't have 3.0s and even if it did, i tried them all out T_T)

The specs seem pretty similar and the price is the same as well. I can't really seem to find reviews specific to these two models so I was hoping for some insight.
I bought a new laptop a week ago, A 15.6 in Lenovo Y50 Touch, and its been great except that yesterday I noticed a vertical black line appear right down the center of my screen. The line is only visible when there's no programs blocking it, so only when my laptop is just showing my background can I see the line. When on the web or playing a game or anything else, the line is not there. It's not the background itself, I have tried that

So when I turn on my laptop it turns on and it boots but the screen doesn't turn on it does a beep sound for about 3 seconds and then stops and the screen just stays blank and I was wondering how I could fix this? I have a lenovo thinkpad edge e530
