Do I Have to Purchase Windows 8 Again? (dual boot partition erase)?

I bought a Lenovo with Windows 8 installed, then later upgraded to 8.1. I'm taking computer science classes so i needed to dual boot Ubuntu and Windows. It worked fine when i first installed it. I tried to re install because it was using the Grub loader instead of Windows BootManager. It then deleted the Windows partitions and created a Linux and swap partition after i re installed Ubuntu. I tried using TestDisk to try to retrieve the partitions but that didn't work.

I'm taking it to the computer store. Will I have to pay for a new copy of Windows 8 again? The Windows partitions are not there. Thanks.

Added (1). I have a Windows 9 Lenovo PC. Every time I hit Capslock or any other lock button, the onscreen display pops up on the bottom right corner causing my FPS to drop.

How to Increase Dedicated Video Ram?

So i want to Play Minecraft and it Lags, i found out it was My PC Graphics Card, Everything was good except Dedicated Video Ram, i had 32mb and needed 64mb. How do i increase this my Stuff is below. I Tried the Bios and i can't find anything to increase it, do i need to update it or something?

How to get into CES 2015?

I have a technology Youtube channel and I would like to go to CES to get more subscribers and because its on my bucket list.

I don't think I or someone else knows anyone in the electronic industry so thats not an option…

I heard some Youtubers like MKBHD and others can go to CES. Is there some sort of requirement?

Also is there a minimum age? I'm 14.
