Is there a Windows 8.1 Touch Operating System Version?

I bought my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. I want to get rid of the junk and format it and install Windows 8.1 As Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro has a touch screen, will I still be able to use the touch screen if I format and install a Windows 8.1 OS? Or does it require a special Windows 8.1 OS for the touch screen?

Are Macbook computer's any good?

I've got a Sony Y series, it's a small computer and it pisses the **** out of me! It's forever lagging, the screen cracks easily and it's always turning off. I've been thinking of getting a new computer but I don't like the new Windows 8 and I don't want another Windows 7. I've been thinking about getting a Macbook Air 13" because they're so thin. Just need to clarify whether they're any good in terms of speedyness. Also, can you use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel on Macs? I don't want to waste $1,600 on a computer that doesn't have the basic things I need. Please answer!
