Are ultrabook processors costlier compared to laptop processors?

Added (1). I was researching about i3, i5 and i7 processors and i found that performance wise it's not as simple as saying i7>i5, it also depends on the no. Of cores and GHz, but I believe there's the U suffixed processor made for ultrabooks and M suffixed processor made for laptops, ultrabooks are more expensive and have less performance compared to laptops, but I also see that you processors are used in some budget laptops… So considering just the processor's are ultrabook processor's cheaper or costlier?

Added (2). So is it that ultrabook processors are cheaper than laptop processors but the other components of an ultrabook make them costly?

Wich of these low-end laptop is better for gaiming?

I know these are prety low specs but wich one of them could run more or better more modern games? Or just wich one is the best of the bundle?

Which of thses laptops is best in terms of performance?

I'm looking to buy a good ultrabook and I'm stuck between three options. I will mainly be using my laptop for basic picture/video editing, browsing the web and using Microsoft applications. Assume that all of these have the maximum amount of ram (usually 8 gb) and they all have an Intel 4th gen i7 processor.
1. Samsung ATIV Book 9 plus (15.6 in)
2. Lenovo Yoga 3 pro
3. Toshiba Satellite Radius-P55W
Please give an explanation as to why one ultraviolet is better than the others.

Difference between skins and decals or vinyl in laptop?

1. I want to buy a skin/ decal whatever it is
as i have a white Lenovo Z-50. But i can't understand difference between two one is cheaper than other?
2. Does these decals fit in all laptops? My screen size is 15.6" but it is little wider than my old same size laptop so i'm wondering if that would fit or not.
3. Any recommendation which one should i buy for a whole white laptop… I mean for color/design choices

Which stylus is best for a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 14?

I'm looking for one that is best for drawing. Originally, I thought that a Fujitsu Digitizer Pen would work well on the laptop, but I recently read online that the Yoga 14" doesn't support that stylus? Can somebody explain why?

Also, I'm hoping not to get those styluses with broad rubber tips since I don't feel right when I draw with them.

Looking for a laptop for a teacher?

What she wants:

- Definitely under $700
- Less than 17 inch screen (so preferably on the lighter side)
- Durable and built well. (Hopefully to last another 4 years)

Since she is a teacher, she can use a teacher discount if a Mac is suggested… And she is curious about Macs, but they're really overpriced for the hardware you get. Most decent ones are over her price range.

The biggest consideration is that she's kind of careless with her things. For whatever reason, she leaves her laptops on the ground. She has stepped on the screen more than once… So I'm thinking some sort of accidental warranty should be thrown in.

All I know is that she probably shouldn't get an I3 processor - probably should be an i5 or i7… But I don't know what to suggest or get for her outside of that.

I've heard Lenovo is really good, and this is one of the models I'm considering for her:

But it's only 4GB of RAM. I'm not sure it'll be enough since Windows 8 uses quite a bit of RAM by itself.

Again though, she's just a teacher and will mainly be listening to music, using Facebook, and word processing. No gaming.

Should i get ACER E5-571 or LENOVO G50-70?

Acer is a bit more expensive but i get 8gb ram and 1tb storage which is double.

i use the internet alot esp. Opening multiple tabs and windows (videos and stuff).

i've heard lenovo is a good brand but i think acer appeals more to me but i never really had any so i don't know what i should go for.
