My laptop is 32-bit after service?

My Lenovo Z580 had a hard disk error 6 weeks ago, and I had to send it to Lenovo for them to repair it.

I received my laptop today and sent it to a computer technician to reinstall the Windows 8, since Lenovo wouldn't install it for us. (Note the computer technician is a good friend of mine) He asked me for my previous Windows 8 serial and disc so he can install Windows 8.

When I received it back my laptop states that it only has 3.13 GB of RAM and is a 32-bit. Before I sent it, it was 8 GB of RAM and is a 64-bit.

Added (1). Hi guys, I'm looking for a good reliable everyday use laptop. My current laptop is giving me so much problems. Any idea of a good laptop for everyday use like fb, watching movie, emails, microsoft office & with good space for me to store my work. Also one that doesn't lag, fast & has big memory. Any suggestions?

Will A 15.6 Inch Laptop Fit In A 15.4 Inch Backpack?

I know this is a very silly question, but I think 0.2 of an inch is very small. It probably would be the difference of fitting a laptop, but oh well.

That's the laptop backpack. It's the Lowepro Fastpack 250. Really cheap DSLR backpack. Unfortunately, I have a 15.6 inch laptop, the Lenovo Y500. It's like an inch in width and it has 2 GPUs. So will it fit?

Problem with my laptop defecting my router NETGEAR AC1200 5GHZ?

I just got a NETGEAR AC1200 Router. All the other devices(iphone, mac, other pc) can detect 5GHZ Wi-Fi, however, only my PC-Lenovo can't detect 5GHZ. But, it can dedect 2.5 GHZ. And also, the chromecast i just got would not detect 5GHZ Wi-Fi as well. I'm super uneducated on those stuff.

I have a valid user id and password (they work on three other computers) that don't work on my Lenovo laptop with Windows 8 RT. I enter the password, get prompted to have code sent to phone or sms message. I get the code, enter it, and I'm sent back to the log in screen. I'm in a loop.

Anything you know about Video Editing Software?

I have a lenovo laptop with windows 8. I'm really starting to get into Videography and video editing, and am currently using Windows Movie Maker. I would like to make an upgrade and use something with more options and can do more things, (for example, reverse, filters, and putting 2 or more shots in the same time) I was looking at Final Cut pro, is that only for apple computers though? Are there any alternatives? I'm only willing to pay $200 or less. I just need advice about these programs!

Is this a Good Entry Level Gaming Laptop?

So I just bought the Lenovo G500.

Specs:

i3-3110m 2.4ghz

4gb RAM

500gb HDDR

AMD Radeon 8750m

What sort of games will I be able to play? I'm also probably going to upgrade the RAM to 6-8gb and upgrade the CPU to i5.
