How's the lenovo yoga 2 pro for light gaming?

I plan on just playing world of warcraft and dcuo. I don't need nor expect it to play on max settings. Would it work on medium settings with more than 30 frames per second. Also is this laptop good for a college student that watches alot of movies, YouTube, and Netflix.

What's a good laptop for CS major?

I bought a laptop from Office Depot almost a year ago. When summer began, so did my laptops hardware problems, after summer break and three trips to the company I ensured my laptop with, they broke the key board and the touchpad on it so they gave me my money back… In the form of an Office Depot card…

Office depot doesn't have very many options for the kind of specs I need, and the laptops I was going to get are all sold out, my mother called, and the person said five days and it would be in stock again, two weeks later she called again and they said it would be in stock in two weeks, I do not have time to wait for it to be in stock if it ever will be.
So I started looking at different laptops, they have an MSI Dragon Army Ge70 Apache pro-061 but I'm not familiar with this brand. Is this specific laptop any good?
Also they have multiple series of the Lenovo ThinkPad, there are so many different ones it would take longer to type them out then to give you a link to OfficeDepot to check them out yourselves.

Now the specs my IT friend said I would need, and a website listing specs a CS major would need for their laptop is:
1920X1080p
2.6 GHz Intel core i5
8gb
SSD
That's about it…
I would have preferred to have a touch screen for the program I will be doing as practice before starting college in the spring, but I will sacrifice it for quality.
Oh and price is preferred under $1,000
That's all that'll fit, thanks!

Can I play games that recommends 2.4ghz?

I currently have a Windows XP, Lenovo, as a hand me down.
My system information is
Pentium (R) Dual Core
T4200 @ 2.00 GHz
1.99Ghz, 1.96GB of Ram.

I'm using a Laptop.

I have the following games on Steam: Goat Simulator, Team Fortress 2, Deponia, Garry's Mod, Viscera games. [some games can tend to be laggy at times; but when i lower the qualities; they're not really that laggy anymore. Is it my internet speed?]

I was wondering if these games were okay to play, since some of them recommend 2.2/2.4ghz; when i only have 2.00ghz. Will there be a problem even if there's just a few differences?
And if my laptop can't play these games, can you recommend me some gaming laptops/computers; Like the brand? I heard Dell was nice, but i'm not so sure about buying one. I'm not looking for very expensive ones, just average.
I know i asked alot of questions at once, but i just need an answer D;

Is the Lenovo Y50 a good gaming laptop?

I have been saving up for ages to buy a good laptop that can handle almost any game on high settings but I don't know anything about computers. I hardly even know what a graphics card is. So my question is, since my budget is around 1200 aus dollars, is a y50 or y510p powerful enough to run practically anything. Btwmill ONLY be using it for gaming.

$1k laptop for school & gaming, problem?

I recently sold my gaming desktop (probably a bad idea, but what's done is done!) For a more portable option (college and travel). I want a laptop that I can do some mid level gaming on thats under $1,000. I have been looking at the lenovo y50 but its a tad over my price range and I don't know if i can justify paying $1,100 on a laptop that may rapidly depreciate in value. Is it worth it? Are gaming laptops in genaral a bad idea? Am I better off with a $300 laptop and (forgive me for my sins but…) A console? I'm just torn on what I should do. Afterthought: $1,000 is a lot of money as i'm only 18. So take that into account as well)

Wi-Fi suddenly drops download/upload speed on laptop (Windows 8.1)?

I bought a new laptop (Lenovo y510p) 3 months ago, but recently i've been having issues concerning the Wi-Fi speed.

Normally, I have a stable 20Mb/s down and 0.5/Mb/s up, but after a while it suddenly drops to a steady 0.7Mb/s down with the same up speed with no way of resolving the issue besides rebooting the laptop.

Anyone know how I can fix this? It may have something to do with my network card but I'm not quite knowledgeable in the electronics field.

Lenovo ideapad Boot device problem

My laptop opens normally and suddenly it goes off and a black screen appears with " No booting device. Insert boot device and press any key"… Any ideas what this could be. And what can I do to fix it as soon as possible?

Is there any better Laptop other than this within Rs.51200?

Cheap Laptops that can run WoW?

So I'm looking for a cheap laptop that can Run World of Warcraft, Sims 4 and Photoshop. My budget is around the £300 pound mark. Before you go on that desktops are better, which they are but do not require my needs as I travel a lot.
I know I'm most likely unable to get a brand new laptop for this price, so I have been looking at secondhand and refurbished.
So if people could give me links or names of laptops. NO SOFTWARE INFORMATION as that means nothing to me.
