I was hoping if anyone can help me with this. I have a laptop Lenovo Y470 and it can't detect any wireless connections (with the red X symbol).
Its weird because all other PCs and laptops in my house can detect the wireless connection just fine.
So far I've tried:
1) Switching on/off the connection button on the laptop
2) Uninstall network adapter and then re-install it again
Both didn't work unfortunately.
Also I was in UK last month- and I brought this laptop with me. It works just fine surprisingly. It can even detect my phone's hotspot. Before I went to UK, I was facing the same problem but I didn't do anything about it because I already own a new PC. Now that I'm back at my country- it can't detect any connections back!
Any idea what's going on with my laptop?
There's sound in windows 7… But i have to go to control panel--> Hardware---> sound --->Manage audio devices every time when sound is gone… And sound goes rapidly sometimes and so it's so difficult to manage it… And sometimes sound goes when i play something in chrome. Why is this?
My Laptop brand is lenovo and it's new.64 bit OS and 2.00 GB ram. Please answer this…
This is the laptop I'm talking about, it seems to have everything apart from a good graphics card. I guess they're integrated graphics, but since Minecraft isn't really a game that demands graphics I wondered if it would be okay for running it at high settings? (Full render distance, Fancy graphics etc)

Added (1). If I do buy it I will be upgrading the RAM to 8GB and the Hard Drive to 500GB.

Added (3). If none of them are good enough can you please see if you can find a good laptop for me? I don't have a lot of money so a price of around £400 or under would be good. As I said, I will be pretty much just playing Minecraft on here.

I have a brand new Lenovo y410p gaming laptop. For some reason when I looked at my task manager my disk usage is at 99%. A virus scan is running right now but no other programs. It is using about 15mb/s. I don't know if that's a lot or if it's normal. I have 8gb's of RAM and I don't see how that could be possible. Anyone?
Hey I'm looking for a new laptop computer and could use some suggestions!
Right now I have a HP Pavilion dv7 that is a little over 17 inches. I've had this since 2010. One year after the warranty something happened where the computer didn't "recognize" its own software or something like that. So every time I had to start it up it gave me a black screen and I would have to press a key to get it to continue to get to windows. To fix it I would have had to send it off and wait like a month to get it back and I didn't have the time for that so I have just learned to deal with it. But now it just seems to be so slow and the left shift key keeps popping off. I also can't find a good laptop cooling pad for this size of computer so I think it is just time to get a new one.
I'm looking for suggestions on different brands. I have usually always used HP and I have an HP wireless printer and I would like a laptop that will work with that (HP Officejet 4500 Wireless). I've heard that Asus is usually good and my dad said a tech guy he talked with suggested Lenovo but I haven't heard of that brand before so I don't know anything about it.
I'm looking for a laptop that has plenty of memory for documents (I'm currently a college student and I'm thinking about graduate school) and pictures. A laptop that is good for searching the web. I also like to play the sims on occasion when I'm not too busy will school. So it would be nice for a computer that can run a few games

I recently cracked my lcd screen of my Lenovo Ideapad. After replacing it, the backlight doesn't work. Is there anything I can do without replacing anything else?
