I bought a laptop with 128GB but says 103GB available?
I recently bought a Lenovo laptop which said it has 128GB in the store. I haven't installed anything on it and it says 75GB left of 103GB. Can anyone tell me why this is?

I have a set of laptops that I feel are within my budget and meet minimum system requirements for Ableton. My budget is anything up to 600 dollars (knocks out any macbooks). Here are my options:
1. Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E555 15.6-inch
2. ASUS F555LA-AB31 15.6-inch Full-HD Laptop
3. HP 15-F211WM 15.6-inch Touchscreen Laptop
4. Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-2 11.6 Inch Laptop
5. 2016 Newest Dell Inspiron 15.6" Premium High Performance Touchscreen Laptop
6. 2016 Newest Dell Inspiron 15 15.6" Premium High Performance Laptop PC
Please tell me which one you recommend, or if you have one that fits my budget that is better than the ones listed. I'm still researching, but could use some input! Thanks!
P.S.: Copy and paste any of these into the search bar of amazon.com to find out more about it.
I had just started to develop my Youtube channel with gameplay videos, and i wanted to do some console gameplay. I like the Elgato HD a whole lot, but i don't want to spend $150 just yet to get one. Once i have more experience with gaming videos, i will make the purchase. In the meantime, i need something that will get me started.
My first gameplay video series is going to be on an older console, like the N64 for example. I'm welcoming suggestions for a starter caputure, and i appreciate your inputs.
Device: PC (Lenovo Yoga ThinkPad '14)
Broadcasting Software: Open-Broadcast Software (OBS)
Any other details you need to know, let me know, and i will update them when i get a chance. Thanks, guys!
Added (1). Oh and one more thing, i want to get a good balance of quality and price, just so you know.
Can I save the memory from my dead laptop? - 1
Added (1). My daughter dropped my Lenovo Ideapad S210 laptop. It will no longer turn on. I took it to Microsoft and they said that the motherboard no longer works and that I will need a new one. Can I still retrieve the memory (such as pictures) from the old motherboard?
I have a Lenovo laptop with a switchable graphics feature. Because of this, some programs aren't detecting my AMD card and won't run cause it says Intel HD cards are not supported. So how can I disable this feature and can I revert it back?
How to stop my laptop from zooming in and out all the time?
Added (1). It's a lenovo laptop if that helps. I may just have to take it to a computer tech dude but help would be appreciated!
The laptop is a Lenovo b50-r30 running Windows 10 with Intel graphics.
I had the laptop plugged into the TV yesterday via HDMI and it worked fine. Today I turned both laptop and TV on and saw no picture on the TV.
With the TV still plugged into the laptop I went to display settings and clicked on "detect" and it said "display not detected".
How can I get the laptop to display on the TV?
I recently bought a cheap (Lenovo) laptop with the intention of putting my old hard-drive into it so I can use its data again. However, when the new PC turned up, it had a 7200rpm drive in it, compared to the 5400rpm speed of my old hard-drive. When I switched the new laptop on, I was impressed with how much faster it can boot up compared to my old (Samsung) one. So now, I'm worried that the new machine will slow down if I install the old drive.
Both drives are from the same OEM (HGST) and have the same capacity. From reading their respective specs, it seems they are literally two variants of the same model, just with different speeds. The only other difference is that about 160gb on the old drive is taken up with my files and data. Given this, how much of an effect will this have in day-to-day use?
I was studying about PCMCIA cards that can add functionality to Laptop just like expansion cards in desktop.
but i never find any model supporting PCMCIA or doesn't have a slot for that.
Are they outdated or not really present
on average laptops?
