My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 2. I have used it for a while but I'm getting a different laptop and plan on selling my Yoga. Problem is, I have quite a few scratches on the outside cover, and it isn't the glossy covers that are most commonly seen. So I tried searching online for tutorials that told me how to clean it up, but all of them are tutorials for to remove scratches from glossy covers. So my questions are: Does it make a difference if it is a glossy cover or not? Is it even possible to remove scratches from covers that aren't glossy? If so, what's the best way to do it?
I need a computer for college and to hold my artwork and programs on (sai, toon boom, gimp, etc). I want something with a dvd player, that's the only thing stopping me from getting chrome books. They have no players or buttons on the touch pad.

I will mainly use it for work (graphic designing) and some occasional gaming (nba 2k16).
I brought a lenovo thinkpad edge, and it starts up fine, but while i'm on it, the screen will flicker to black, and then it will do one beeping noise.(its like its suspended) It starts back up, and then will do this again, after some time. It didn't come with an OS, so i downloaded linux, and that is all. When I'm charging it i notice it does this less often.
I have a lenovo thinkpad edge. It starts up great and turns on but then after like 15 minutes, i will get one short beep then the screen flickers black, then after a few seconds it turns back on. The light on the side will dim(the red light on top of the I in thinkpad). Do you have any idea what this is?
I'm using the 695 combo plan which gives 4mbps up to 4gb. Recently i observed when i'm downloading any thing using torrent it gives a speed of max 180kbps even the seeders is above 2000. Before when i was using a private net connection of hathways it gave speed up to 4mbps when the seeders and leechers are above 1000. I was using a 1 mbps plan. Can some body tell me the reason and how to get increase the downloading speed?

How can I get rid of this menu?!
A new Menu is added in the right side of the "My computer" or "This pc" window. It shows some details about the folder or drive which is selected. I don't know how it appeared in the first time! Maybe I added accidently by a short key or something like that. And I can't remove it now!

As my primary stationary computer recently broke, and I'm now using my laptop instead, I'm wondering if I should remove my battery from the laptop, when I have my power cord connected, because I don't want to overcharge it and damage it.
