I have a small wacom tablet but i don't have a pc to use it with, will a thinkpad lenovo meet the hardware/software requiments and if not is there something i can do to change that?
So I have a limit of around 500$ an rebuild was thinking of getting a xperia z2 tablet, or I could get a hp split x2 or the hp x360 or the Lenovo yoga pad, but what would be better.

Added (1). How do I connect the Lonovo Yoga 8 tablet to the TV? I just bought Rocketfish's Micro USB to HDMI cable and connected it with the tablet and the TV, but the screen is blank despite the input being on HDMI.
Iv never heard of this brand. The laptop seems like a good one. Its really nice but the tablet isn't as nice as some others that iv seen and on both of these, the camera sucks. But just wonderin about the brand.
It has freezes probably 4-5 times in two weeks. Yesterday I was in class and it started giving high pitched beep codes then it froze. Its a lenovo miix 2 8. It freezes most of the time when I charge it at night.

I'm a college student looking to purchase a tablet because the cost of my textbooks for this semester is ridiculous. I'm studying health science and physical therapy and will be using the tablet for mostly non-science books. I think I have narrowed it down to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and a refurbished 3rd generation iPad. As I said earlier, the most important thing for the tablet is to support textbooks. I will also use the tablet for browsing the internet. I'm familiar with both operating systems. Are there any differences in the textbook aspect of each tablet and what are the differences between each tablet?
Another thing that I'm concerned about is at some point a few years from now, whether Apple will stop supporting updates for older iPads. I bought an itouch in 2010 and Apple has since stopped supporting updates for it. My ipod can no longer download new apps and is extremely glitchy. I would hate to spend money on an iPad and only be able to use it for a few years.
Also, what are people's opinions on the Lenovo A10 tablet and the Lenovo Idea Pad 9.7? I don't love that these don't have a physical home button, but if someone spoke highly of it, I would considering purchasing one of these.

So I was thinking of getting a new tablet, the xperia z2, but a laptop hybrid would be better for school. I want to know the top 5 laptop hybrids for around 500$, I know of the Lenovo yoga 11, and the hp split x2, what other ones are there?
I need help in choose low price tablet, just for reading books, music, and Internet. No more no less. Actually i like lenovo tablet A6000, but its high price with high performance that i don't need.
So could you please suggest tablet type with screen 10 inch that could satisfy my needs.
