Static playing through front headphone jack only

So recently i went to fries electronics to pick up a lenovo 710-90F to use as a computer desktop for my DAW, but when I plugged in my headphones into the front jack, a static noise occurs while playing the audio i want. Only in front jack, not the back… (problem is not due to my headphones, and tried multiple other pairs…) so i then returned it to fries to get a replacement assuming something was wrong. When i took home the replacement computer, the SAME THING happens… Is it possible 2 computers are bad?

Its A kind of staticy feedback noise that seems to get worse when I open an application or really do anything.

Could my headphones being made out of aluminum cause this?

I need advice for a PC I'm building

So i'm a 9 year old boy, anyway so, my main desktop is an emachines from, like 2006, and my laptop is a acer aspire. I was looking online at different sites like Newegg, and I bought a RGB keyboard, and some speakers. I need to save up more money, by working for/with my dad in his construction job, so I can get a deepcool case. But, I have no clue weather to get an Intel or AMD. I heard good and bad things about both of them. What's your opinion on kaby lake? I'm asking for a Lenovo flex 4 for my 10th birthday. I want to build a PC so I can get better games, not just ROBLOX and wizard11 and pirate101 and Toontown Rewritten ( which toontown online was way better )

Attn: Techs - Why isn't my desktop connecting to my Wi-Fi USB adapter /?

I'm trying to install a Wi-Fi usb adapter. My computer does not have a Wi-Fi network connector built in… Thus the adapter.

I follow the instructions that came with the adapter and at the end it displays all the networks and it looks like it gets the computer connected and displays a list of the available network connections… Including the one i want to link too. And for all i can tell it appears as the status is active (network strength indicator on right shows strong signal, Wi-Fi indicator on the left is displayed.

BUT… When i click on the computers network connection status… It shows Not Connected.

Also is it possible that the adapter is connected to the internet but the computer won't connect to it?
I've tried to trouble shoot a bunch of different things… Didn't work.

So, i turn to the wise ones.

Any ideas?

How to transfer data on a laptop to SSD?

I have a Lenovo Ideapad U530 Touch, and it recently broke. (The laptop won't close, but the screen works) I'm hoping to get a new computer soon, and I'm going to get a desktop so I can upgrade my hardware, unlike a laptop.

So here's the big question: is there a way I can take all the files from my current laptop-including OS- and move it onto an SSD so that when I get a new computer I can use the SSD and keep all my files and the OS?

My laptop is getting slower?

So i have a lenovo idea pad laptop from about 2013. It worked fine with soft games like xd go and minecraft type things and this game called ace of spades. But for some reason over the course of about 2 years i have had significant fps drop. Mainly in a game called ace of spades that hadn't been updated in any way to effect performance. It would work fine for 10 mins then fps would drop to 15 - 20 frames for some reason. So about 3 months ago i bought an exp gdc beast egpu doc (works great) with a 1060 3gb so i could play gta v, about 2 months ago i got about 45 - 55 fps (the doc makes the card slower). But now it runs at 35 - 45 fps even after putting setting down. Can anyone help with this? I'm going to get a new desktop pc so i'm sure the problem will disappear then but i still want to know why this is happening.
